What is wrong with "slut shaming"?

Doctors ask if you are sexually active for medical reasons. They also educate their patients. The prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted disease would include asking those types of questions.
Good medical care can be personal but hopefully not judgmental.

 

And I am in favor of the realistic recognition of racial differences and the suppression of hedonism.

 

It also serves to make the shamed feel worse about themselves and encourages bystanders to avoid the fate of the shamed.

 

Shaming doesnt work on drug addicts, alcoholics, or the mentally ill. It would probably work on the singles mothers, older people priced out of places and those who through no fault of their own started tumbling downward. Oh wait! Im sure you could find a bad relationship choice or career path to shame.
Consequences not shaming...they are arent the same.

Everyone is repulsed by sluts. They deserve and get no respect. But it’s unnecessary to confront them face to face.

Youre mistaken if you think that only freaks are interested in sluts, unless freaks are men with working sexual apparatus.

Seems to boil down to subscribing to / ascribing a ubiquitous criterion of morality; & that just isn't the way of the world - sorry... Moral relativism is the way of things; so it's rather preposterous to impose a personally held moral rubric upon an effusively diverse populace. Not to mention, that the latter (moral relativism) is championed by most aspects of our mainstream.

There is a nearly linear correlation between increased promiscuity and increased substance dependency.

Almost every study of “hookup” sexual behavior has found increased levels of anxiety, low self esteem, and depression after the casual sexual encounter.

Ever consider the fact that 'it's not all about U or I'? Perhaps that woman would likewise be rebuffed by your judgmental moral calculus - just saying, to ea. their own, tis the spice of life.

Others are jealous they can't have any.
If one shames another, it's because they are jealous or insecure of themselves.

One can not want a promiscuous person without shaming. If one is confident in themselves.
