    Not a well-considered answer.

Those are attempts to nudge an economy.

Do you really believe that those steps "created" an economy? We didn't have an economy before Bonespurs became "presuhdint"?

Tell us all how those steps magically "created" an economy?

    Danke.

P.S. Find an economist who actually believes that a president controls the economy and then find one who believes that they "create" one. Baby steps.

Prove it wasn't Trump. If the economy had grown during Obama, it would have damn well been Obama.

    TDS causes blindness.

An 80 year old socialist who just had a heart attack and isn’t even a Democrat.

    Amazing.

And the Dems said Reagan was too old in 1980 when he was 69.

Let's hope so because the Democrats will never win another Presidential election.

I will personally be voting for Bernie in the primaries to get him on the ticket to run against Trump.

    lol

You obviously missed the line in my post clarifying the difference between creating from scratch, and revitalizing a struggling one. Or- is your intent to give yourself some kind of award here?
    Of course it is.

If you are trying to deprive Trump of any credit, then all you need to do is explain how the sudden burst in the stock market that has continued for three years now coincides precisely with the day he was elected.
Of course, you have no way to do that, so the standard go-to of denial will suffice....

Given the insults and slander you chose to use now- I think it's clear that refusing to give credit is due was your motive in the beginning; that this was never posed as a legitimate question- but to set the stage for more of the trash-thinking we have seen from the left since the day Trump said he was running. How un-creative.

The most amazing thing is that in three years of slinging trash, the left has never won a game point, and has given people more and more reason to re-elect Trump- yet the left continues the same game, apparently unaware of the fact.

I don’t know if he has the best intentions considering he’s been in office for so long, but he has to know how dangerous his proposals are.
I think he just wants make his mark.

People follow him out of jealousy. Jealousy that has turned to hatred of the rich and of certain industries.
I could be wrong about Bernie i suppose.

What i am not wrong about is the need for Americans to reject the progressive socialist revolution . It is not about doing good for the country even if it's leaders believe that it is.

Voting for Bernie would be like grocery shopping hungry. It will cost a lot of money and you will end up with crap you don’t need.

Bernie is no success story either, the fool couldn’t scrape up two dimes to rub together until he was well into his 40’s, and only because he landed a gubmint job.

The Pilgrims were all about "free stuff" from the collective until they almost starved to death from that system's failure.

Almost doesn't count; either they starved to death or they didn't; it's like being pregnant, either you are pregnant or your not, there is no in between.

    *LOL*

I've posted numerous works by economists on this very issue, and the economy did grow under Obama. Hint: I'm not giving him credit, either.

What an awesome and informative post! I really have to admire all of the sources you cited to!

If you think that presidents "control" the economy, you've already beat me to the fool pole.

I like Bernie as a person, he seems genuine and has a good heart, i'd gladly have a beer with him but the minute he started lecturing me and yelling about stuff I'd politely ask him to get the hell off my porch much like i'd do with the Jehovah's.

I do not like his platform(s). I would have voted for him as POTUS in 16' but i'm more aware of his intentions now than I was then and I reject his idea's on how he plans to muck up my life, so its a hard pass. Sorry Old man but no thank you.

Biden is probably the only guy that I was willing to consider but to be truly honest I think he's well past his prime, which is a very nice way of saying that he's old and confused, that's an issue for me. If its Bernie or Pocahontas i'm out and will be a trump voter all the way. If its Biden i'll give him due consideration and probably take a pass. The best the Dem's can realistically hope for with me is a 3rd party vote, but I did that last time and regret it, although I thought my reasoning was sound.

Wise up... it's not that presidents CONTROL the economy. Fact is, they're held RESPONSIBLE for everything that happens under their watch. We don't get to pick & choose what they get credit or blame for.

Unless we're Obama supporters, of course... then rewriting history is encouraged to make him look better.

Just watch this video if you want to see what flaming Marxist Bernie Sanders was, and still is.

Go ahead and vote for this man, it's just more proof of how far off the left side of the cliff the Democratic Party has fallen.

Why Bernie Sanders' Communist Misadventures Still Matter

You must think I am either too stupid to know what a socialist is ( I am 57 years old, I have been exposed to this stuff plenty)or so stupid as to think that what he is the same socialist today as he was then, or so stupid as to think that Sanders represents the democratic party. I know Sanders is a far more decent, reputable and capable man than Donald Trump. Its not a high bar to meet, but that is something the voters in the GOP must own. They set that bar at the gutter level.

you aren't going to scare me off by calling the man a socialist. I figured that part out.

Where did i cal either you or Bernie a "socialist?"

I'll bet you didn't even bother to watch the video. Sanders is a Marxist, plain and simple. Marxism is more of an ideology, not so much the cookie-cutter practical application of a political ideology as socialism is.

You probably tried to pigeon hole Sanders by looking at the dictionary definition of socialist/Marxist. Talk to a thousand Democrats, and you will probably get a thousand variations on who and what a real Democrat is. The same goes for trying to pin down the definition for what a true Republican is.
