But they got the guys that will vote Dem no matter what riled up, while everyone else scratches their heads in horror at their incompetency. Now that's a novel way to gain votes

All the Republicans except Romney honored their oath of office. Romney looked for an excuse, actually in this case an ASSUMPTION so that his pathetic tired 72 year old ass could deliver a parting shot to the man he despises above all others.

I guess the Dems think 3 years of screaming freaks hasn't done enough damage to them.
    They're going for more

There was no trial. You can’t have a trial when most of the “jury” publicly admits and works with the accused to come up with the best way to acquit. You can’t have a trial where witnesses and evidence are suppressed. Trump was acquitted by a circus and everything that was done by these criminals to protect him makes him guilty of all charges which were never defended and makes these racketeers complicit in his crimes.

Well - the extortion never worked because Ukraine never did announce an investigation and they still got the money - so there really was no extortion

It is not like this kind of thing does not happen rather often - coercion of foreign Gov'ts for political gain of one form or another.
There is also legitimate hanky panky on the part of Biden's son and the Ukraine Gas company.

At the end of the day - the question of whether or not this rises to the level of "High Crimes" - was not sufficiently addressed by the Prosecution.

It doesn't help matters when you have folks like the Romney Clown - and others - claiming "National Security" risk - a completely bogus and nonsensical claim.

Anyone thinks other wise lives in Blue state than hasn't voted red in a century. Polling data at the moment show that the only Rep who didn't improve his standing at home Is Romney and Gallup has Trump with his highest numbers ever.

    Totally WRONG.

All Dems will be on the same page to Defeat Trump in November.

They won't let 2016 happen again.

They won't be WASTING Votes on 3rd Parties or "Sitting it out".

    Witnesses were suppressed?

    The house had 17 witnesses.

If the evidence was "overwhelming" to create the articles of impeachment in the first place, then why would you need more witnesses?

I agree. The actions of Clinton/DNC against Sanders did not send hoards of his supporters over to the red side. It did however cause many to just stay home.

Had it not been for this - I think Clinton would have won - and there is no such roadblock in the way this time round.

    Exactly.

And, unlike 2016, "disgruntled supporters" of the Primary Losers will support the Party Nominee to Stop Trump.

You don't have clue, do you? Whereas #42 and #43 above do understand. It's about just how the turnout will be.

The ? is not who the Presidential nominee will be as much as it is who the VP candidate will be. That will determine a high turnout or a much higher turnout.

You know - its hard to understand why the Dem leadership has acted the way they have- and taken the path they have.

One of the things that was a big negative about Hillary- aside from her condescending arrogance and nails on the chalkboard personality - is that all she did was "Bad Trump - Bad Trump" - like a parrot on a broken Record. No plan - no message - nothing to vote for.

Why are the Dem's following this same failed game plan. We know about the demographic time bomb Red is facing - their anti abortion - anti gay - and religious extremist - puritan perspective does not cut it with the younger generation.

4 more years will have passed - 4 more years of new voters - and some of the old stalwarts have died off.

All Blue had to do was stay calm - focus on their message - downplay the less moderate in the party/ move slightly to the middle - let Trump shoot his own feet (which he does constantly) - and the election was in the bag.

Everyone already knows what Trump is -and is not - continuing this "Bad Trump" narrative over and over - just repeating what we already know -is at the expense of getting a coherent message out - and it creates sympathy for the underdog.

Not really... this one deserves that title. Wish we could bookmark for reevaluation in November.

Guess this thread proves HuffPo will continue feeding unsubstantiated garbage to lefties until Trumps reelected in Nov. After that, hopefully they'll go bankrupt.

So you are now making an assumption based on something that hasn't mattered a damn since the fifties and could only be counted on for maybe the VP's home state then.
