Does it matter ? They are registered Republicans. That’s all that’s required in my world. Really....

The screw up will be.....not showing up. We all ready know that through gerrymandering and suppression in key areas, they may have as much as a couple of points advantage, going in.

Who, exactly, is registered at Rep? Do you know their exact identity?

    Only for the left, obviously.

Reading the article, I concluded that Bitecofer is no forecasting genius with a brilliant "new" theory that swing voters don't have a left- or right- bias. It's intuitive to most people that hardly anyone is objective in vetting candidates' platforms nor is it an amazing discovery that elections depend on which voters are incentivized to turn out or sit home. It's amazing that she got so much attention just for self-aggrandizing and marketing herself on social media...because she happened to get luckier on the 2018 House election forecast than other people.

Anyway, Trump may lose, but Bitecofer is making that call based on her own personal bias against him and not on some super formulaic discovery she made that no other forecasters have access to.

She's right about 3rd party voters and turnout costing Hillary the election, but she is now concluding for 2020 that almost all those voters would have voted for Clinton, and so who the Democrat's candidate is doesn't matter. She's a self-inflated amateur and I think she's wrong.

No. I wouldn’t belong to the Democratic Party for anything. They compromise with another party that doesn’t believe in facts. Now we have one party wrong nearly all the of the time and the other party trying to compromise with them. That’s why we are the only free nation without universal healthcare and weak gun laws.

Yes. Otherwise, they report by name. If wrong, they commit voter fraud subject to big fines and time in jail. Polls are suppose have observers who can challenge the voter. It’s ludicrous to think in front of observers, people would intentionally commit voter fraud.
Well....maybe not for some republicans. That’s why imo, they should be identified.

We seem to have an entire party complaining about voter fraud, but can never offer up any proof.
Does it exist? Sure. There is no man made system on earth that is 100% guaranteed fraud proof. But the amount of fraud is down in the 0,00007% range.
But it seems the fake news group needs to play the fraud card every chance they get.

Exactly. But listen to the biggest complainers in any area. They’re often the biggest offenders. The gop looks like no other Conservative party in any other free country.

How would you know they've committed voter fraud?

How do you know they have ? Do you assume everyone is guilty so should be checked ahead of time ? With that kind of reasoning, you should be in favor of universal back ground checks for secondary gun sales and checking EVERYONES license, every day before they use public transportation.
Nope, you have observers who can spot check anyone. Why not blame your own party incompetence.

Hadn't thought of that. Better stick with photo ID.

If you support a national holiday on voting day, I'll support as much voter ID as you want. Deal?

No. People working most low wage jobs have to work national holidays, or they don't get paid holidays if they do take off. More national holidays hurts the poor working class.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that and it would put a burden on employers if it was a paid holiday.

Best way to end the controversy is voter ID then we can all rest assured only eligible citizens vote.

All Democrats care about is getting more voters. Most of their policies cause financial harm to the poorest working classes.

Me? I have no idea whether or not they have.
Nope. I asked how you can be sure that the person voting is who they claim they are.
    That's your reasoning, not mine.
Spot check? But they can't force them to produce ID can they?

Oh, like they're to go vote more easily without a national holiday.
