Fox News lies or actual videos of politicians saying words that contradict what the leftie media is pushing out?
Here I will let you watch it again for yourself. Ignore the bloviating Mr. Watters who I have no use for at all, just watch the timestamped sequences coming from the lefties.

Except epidemiologists and infectious disease experts don't use the first case as a meaningful measure of spread. You can have one isolated case and it never spreads in the community. A good example of this would be Ebola in the US, where we had cases, but the disease never spread meaningfully in the population.

Instead they use the 100th case as the standard for tracking these things. Our 100th case was I believe 8 days after Italy. All the data we have is here.

    https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-confirmed-cases-since-100th-case

    https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus

Lastly, there are a lot of cases in cities, because there are a lot of people in cities and the population density is high. That seems self explanatory, but apparently not to you.

Government only always sucks when it is run by Republicans. They are openly hostile to government, undermine its foundation, then say "see, we told you government was bad!!" In countries with sane political cultures and competent leadership, this crisis has been far less destructive.

Can anybody who hates Trump explain to me what "per capita" means?

    I have a theory.

I already responded to this. You all just don't understand how to interpret the data you are looking at. He also incredibly misleadingly cut that chart off with the US looking like it is near the bottom. Here is an actual link to that chart.

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

If you look, there are 21 countries whose rate is higher than ours. Some of those countries are tiny nations which aren't dealing with comparable issues, but we'll ignore that for now.

Do you know how many are actually lower than us on that chart? Like 190!!! So our rate per 100 million is actually very high, not very low, which that screen capture inaccurately tries to portray.

Lastly, that statistic IS NOT per capita!! It is like all you you Trump cultists are satirical accounts making fun of yourselves. You make fun of the people who "hate Trump," implying they don't know what per capita means, but those statistics ARE NOT PER CAPITA. They are per 100 million people.

LOL, poor desperate poorly educated libs, with Trump they just can't get a break. If we are 8 days behind Italy, YOU STILL LOSE BIGLY :D

-Italy's mortality rate 8 days ago was 166 per 1 million
-The US mortality rate today is 32 per 1 million

    - look at the data and weep:
    Italy 8 days ago: upload_2020-4-6_16-38-23.png
    http://archive.is/oCTC7

US today (same point in the curve as Italy was 8 days ago, or so you say) upload_2020-4-6_16-44-3.png

Like I said, your "Thank you mr. President for protecting the country and saving lives" was all you should have said. Duh :D

You don't understand what is happening do you? First of all, as I pointed out above, even the statistics you listed as proof of how great we are doing, has us doing worse than 190 countries!! Hahahaha!! You have to try hard to be a Trump cultist.

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

Secondly, as I pointed out very clearly. We have not yet reached the point where we have surpassed capacity. However, experts believe that is likely to happen over the next two weeks. God willing we avoid that and our numbers won't be catastrophic. If we don't avoid that, our place on that list will be even worse than the already bad 21st worst.

Lastly, we have tested about half as many people per million as Italy and we have about half as many cases per million. Do you think that is a coincidence?

    As I have demonstrated:

-The US number of cases per capita is substantially lower than the overwhelming majority of western countries
-The US mortality per capita is substantially lower than the overwhelming majority of western countries

Your bogus and absurd claim that we are 8 days behind Italy has been thoroughly debunked as
-the US's first confirmed case was significantly earlier that any other western country
-the US mortality today is 5 times lower than Italy's mortality was 8 days ago

Other than NY, NJ, NYC, Detroit, led by utterly unprepared incompetent uber leftist governments and amounting for 80% of the US statistics, the country does not even begin to resemble Italy.

    Checkmate.
    As long as we agree:

    The US - 32
Italy - 280 (was 166 eight days ago)
    Span - 280
    France - 137
    UK - 79
    the Netherlands - 109
    Belgium - 141
    Switzerland - 88
    Sweden - 47
    ...

    Like I said, checkmate

According to the link you provided, our cases per million people is better than 21 countries, and worse than 190!! 21 to 190. Let that sink into your brain. The fact that you inaccurately cut the screen shot off to not show that doesn’t change the facts.

Then you say “cases per capita is substantially lower than the overwhelming majority of western countries.” That is a blatant lie. Of the countries that we are better than on that list, here are the “western” countries of significance: Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, France, Austria, and Germany. Here are the ones we are lower than: Netherlands, Ireland, Norway, Israel, Denmark, UK, Sweden, Canada, Finland, New Zealand, Australia, Greece, Poland, Hungary. Does the first list amount to an overwhelming majority? Even with your stupid standard of “Western Countries,” which excludes developed nations like Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, etc. your statement is still factually inaccurate.

Lastly, of all the countries we are doing better than on that list, we have run fewer tests per million than every country except France. In fact, we have run at most half the number of tests per million as all the countries above us on that list. Which basically means, your great victory, which amounts to being the 191st best country in the world in cases per million, would almost certainly put us even closer to the bottom if our testing capacity were comparable to those countries.

So in your mind you achieved checkmate, but in reality you haven’t even put your pieces on the board yet. You actually just started shoving them up your nose and then licking them!!

No lol fish tank cleaner killed that person and it's looking like more details might come out about that story in the future....

As far as Trump wasting time, maybe, but couldn't Nancy Pelosi passed a bill on healthcare support against Corona in February or even January?

LOL, good luck convincing anyone that the US which is by far outperforming Spain, the UK, France, Italy, Belgium, Sweden the Netherlands, Belgium etc is not as good as Poland, Burkina Faso, Yemen or Nigeria. Jeez, who do you think you are kidding, this is the the total lack of intellectual honesty among leftists on full display again. Duh. The only comparable country that is doing substantially better than the US is Germany.

PS lest we forget that the overwhelming number of deaths are caused by total stupidity, incompetence and unpreparedness of uber-leftist governors and mayors of uber-liberal places like NY, NYC, NJ, Detroit, New Orleans.

so what was up with Pence's task force meeting today, Trump wants to ignore Americans concerns and attack reporters for even asking question about those concerns

wish Trump would just stay out of this and give Pence back control of this

Pence was doing a good job, Trump is just taking this personal and thinking it's all about himself, Trump lacks empathy of others

The woman who "drank fish tank cleaner" posted anti-Trump rants and donated to Democrat candidates. She also wanted to divorce her husband and there was an incident of domestic violence with her as the perpetrator. Isn't it odd that MSM didn't report that? Instead of the full picture, we're given the impression that she and her husband were actually Trump supporters who assumed it was a good idea to drink fish tank cleaner that contained a chemical with a name similar to a medication Trump was discussing. It's the epitome of fake news, and somehow it's still being propagated.

Farthest from the truth as one could be

As usual the fake media was asking stupid questions about an unknown surgeon general that published that report from March 23. First a reporter tried to say the Trump administration hired/appointed her, Trump didn't know who she was. Then we found from another reporter that she was an Obama appointee and Trump had enough blasted the guy for useless leading questions. America's Surgeon General then came up and basically said this person that leaked this was from the 23rd of March and since that time Trump authorized the wartime law and it immediately lifted a ton of red tape and testing and supplies are flowing at unprecedented numbers, over 2million tests now. The surgeon General stated that whoever this person was she never called or in anyway contacted his office voicing any supply problems and he questioned her leaking and findings.

Another brilliant report asks why is Bank of Americas saying the form isn't working for Small business loans, implying they weren't able to process loans. Trump then says he had talked to Bank of America earlier they wanted a form change and he authorized it. He also reminded the reporter BofA has processed the most of any bank and that we have already processed 1.8 billion in loans which is incredible considering this bill was passed last week. He scolded her because instead of saying Bank of America has processed a ton of loans and asking them wanting a form change then that she implies the loans aren't being processed because of a screwed up form. No surprise from her she always ask BS leading political BS questions, this is a time for facts and America wants facts not BS politics. Crappy journalism and America is laughing.
