Here is a tape of Reagan arguing that Medicare till turn America into a socialist dictatorship, ie., the end of American 'freedom'.




What medicare did was cause segregated hospitals in the south, some 2000 of them, to integrate, because before medicare, they were segregated. Now, hey didn't have to sign up for medicare patients which MANDATED that they not segregate blacks and whites, but they would lose a lot of business if they didn't. Looks like the almighty power of the socialist dictator dollars won them over.

In the end, Medicare is proof that socialized medicate was a good thing. As a man of 70s of age, I can say with authority, it has been a godsend for my life.

Y'all have been shouting 'socialism' 'tyranny' and dictator' bullshit for a long time now, and it's getting old.

Those restrictions ended within a couple days of a photograph making national headlines. In the photograph, many top legislators who enacted the restrictions were seen congregating at a boxing match while ignoring all the restrictions they had enacted. The point being that the restrictions were so useless they ended as soon as careers were in jeopardy with no effect on the pandemic.

The argument is that the govt (and the corporations from whom they recieve much of their guidance) are not trustworthy, and our ability to choose to not do what they tell us to is important.

 

You do have a choice, you can choose between

1. Get the shot.
2. Or get tested weekly
3. Or work for a firm with fewer than 100 employees.
4. Or be self-employed.

In other words, it is still not illegal to refuse the vaccine.

I don't care. It's a public health issue, so you and your body are but one tiny part of the overall equation. Everyone who refuses to take measures places untold numbers of other people at risk.

Earlier I listened to a pre-recorded Dave Ramsey radio program that aired tonight. A lady called in to say she will have to change jobs because her employer will be making the covid vaccine mandatory. Not only did Ramsey encourage her to look for another job right away... he also [rightfully] ranted about all the liberal companies who were mandating the vaccine.

Now that Biden has mandated employees of all companies over 100 employees get the vaccine [or be weekly tested]... I wonder what Ramsey will do in his company? Also, I wonder if that lady already left her job for another and is now in the same lose/lose situation ?!

And if an employer wants to mandate vaccines but the state government won't allow it? How is that conservative by any stretch of the imagination?

 

People that would rather quit their job than get a shot aren't suited for work. Maybe a career at home on YouTube?

Seems to me Biden's draconian vaccine mandate on businesses will make the labor shortage worse... and shortage of goods and services worse... or maybe that's why he is doing it... to further destroy the economy ?!
