None of those nut cases ever made it to the presidency.
But as you admit with your whataboutism, is a president of the USA told his nutcase supporters that attended a rally did tell them to fight.
In fact, 23times in his speech where he wanted to stop the Democratic election process.

And they actually tried.

 

Ethics boss? What is ethical about that? Let all who want to serve come forth before the voters and present their platform. If elections are fair and true, and the media can be trusted, then charlatans pose no threat to the republic.

 

Politicians always… As in “always”… reference the term “fight” when speaking about their agenda. Fight for women’s rights, Fight for equality, Fight for gun rights, Fight for reproductive rights and so on. He did also mention to go express themselves peacefully. The whole context does matter.

 

Can you find another speech referencing to fight 23 times within it? I seriously doubt it.

Trump can definitely motivate. But to claim only those words you choose to edit away from the rest of the context of the speech is the the only words that matter is crazy talk. That’s like someone claiming MLK sought to seek violence with this quote.

I suppose you thought Trump was trying to push violence when he said this to.

“Don't just get involved. Fight for your seat at the table. Better yet, fight for a seat at the head of the table.”

 

Since the crowd he incited to fight went to the capitol to over stop the democratic election process of our nation and some wanted to Hang VP Mike Pence, mattered greatly.

They certainly didn't go there to peacefully stop the election process as evidenced by the storming of the Capital.

 

I don't remember that as part of his incitation speech on Jan 6. Can you link that quote?

It's weird, because I think you are right, that they fear Trump could actually win. On the other hand, I don't think Trump could win. Nothing will have changed to enable a Trump win in 2024, so I would think Democrats would welcome a Trump run. But they sure are not acting like it.

 

Human nature is to remember the good ‘ol days, so Trump can run and win. But I don’t think he will run. He would be better in a leadership role like being the head of the RNC. When was the last time the RNC went out into the public and discussed the differences between capitalism and socialism? Or for that matter said anything to anyone other than “Give us money so we can do the same dumb things again.”
Trump has a role coming up. And like his personality, it will be big. And the louder the detractors, the more marginalized they become.

Trump in Iowa said "We're going to take America back", I hope we all know what that means. What I think it means is that Trump is going to take America back and run the country the way he wants to and he doesn't really care who it affects nor does he care who gets hurt from all this. America doesn't need or want Trump anymore.

 

There are plenty of people that would want something like that. I don't blame them.
