    I'd love to see the two failed parties put up good candidates again, too. Seems like they have been getting worse and worse on average.

    On the other hand, though, where issues and policies are concerned, I feel that we need Democrats in charge to get some important changes and progress made.

    Trump was far more accepted than any other President we've had recently. He was indeed left to blatantly defy Congress and ignore subpeoanas that anyone else would have been arrested for and he should have. Indeed he is still claiming an Executive Privilege he never had, even ten months after he is no longer the executive.

    The CIA started gathering information on republican candidates in 2015 and when Trump became the nominee focused on Trump in cooperation with MI6 and others. Under Obama that intensified and through intelligence gathering started targeting others that were associated with Trump. The Russian collusion story started from the Hillary campaign and that was used to spy on a presidential candidate. That my friend is the deep state.

    First, Trump is a rude, lying POS who demanded to be "resisted," especially when he openly betrayed our national interests to help himself. Second, it was no worse than the crap targeting Obama and Democrats at large in the 8 years prior.

    The US is in a downward spiral and it is the Wrong - the former Right - that is bringing it down. The Wrong lives in alternate universe where fake news is reality, where up is down and, most egregiously, left is right. The Wrong is embracing a modern version of Stalinism with Trumpism. As with Stalin, Trump is revered and worshiped in a cultish fashion. That's not even hyperbole at this point.

    The more extreme and power-hungry the Wrong becomes, the more staunch the resistance it will encounter, because Americans tend to hate and oppose dictatorships.

    The majority of the voters voted Trump out and they had their reasons to do so. When Trump was President, He thought he was above all everything else. There was too much fake news and when the COVID 19 pandemic was big news, Trump said it would all go away and it didn't. The people made that decision and voted Biden in and he is a good man to the people. in Trump were to run again if by chance in 2024, He would lose by a landslide as long as there isn't any restrictions of voting turnouts if you know what I mean.
