Her testimony was not proof. She had only her testimony as evidence that something occurred and nothing to back it up. Therefore I rate her claim as not believable.

Conservative Justices are the ones who adhere to the Constitution as written with the intent of those who wrote and voted for the Constitution. Liberal Justices adhere to a constantly evolving interpretation of the Constitution.

 

The left despises a meritocracy.

How was the court corrupted exactly?

 

I’m quite sure that whoever Biden nominates will be qualified. For a role like this, there is no such thing as “the most qualified” person. There must be dozens if not hundreds of lawyers and judges in the country who have the requisite experience to be “qualified” to be SCOTUS nominee.
At that point, other considerations can be made. It is perfectly legitimate to want SCOTUS to reflect more closely the demographics of the country.

That doesn’t mean picks aren’t being made “on merit”. It means that other things are considered after the merit threshold has been reached.
