    https://www.rt.com/shows/going-underground/580062-lawrence-wilkerson-ukraine-proxy-war/

There is a video interview in the article.
Contrary to the words of US President Joe Biden that the alliance will become more unified thanks to the joint support of the Kiev regime, the officer is confident that the events in the former Soviet republic will lead to the opposite results. Wilkerson believes that the current European leaders will soon leave, and they will be replaced by new people who will contribute to the collapse of the military bloc.
"I don't think it will take much time, maybe 12-15 months, we will see that NATO will begin to disintegrate," he said.
NATO is a paper tiger that can't do anything against the Russians.
Economic sanctions are made only good for the Russian economy, and in military terms, NATO does not represent anything at all. (Remember how the Afghan shepherds drove the NATO military out of their country with hoes.)
As Putin said, "We don't just destroy Bradley and Leopards, we crack them like nuts."

Another useful idiot being used by the KGB regime for nuclear fear mongering in a bid to dissuade continued US support for Ukraine.

We aren’t even willing to shoot down a Russian fighter jet that buzzes our planes or boats. Why the hell would we be more likely to toss nukes around than the Russians who are threatening to toss nukes around?

    The guy is a moron

A very expected comment from you - if a person says words that you don't like, you start blaming him, instead of showing your arguments.

The interview is given by a military specialist. Obviously, he knows what he's talking about.
Are you an expert in politics or in weapons? Maybe you are an expert in planning military operations?

I've seen this same tactic used by conspiracy theorists for years now. They quote some kook who has fancy-sounding credentials and claim that he must be right because of them. Meanwhile, they ignore the facts and the vast majority of qualified experts who disagree with their favorite kook. It's because the conspiracy theorists simply want to be reinforced in their beliefs by someone, anyone, who they think agrees with them and validates their beliefs.

Good. If you disagree with the arguments of a military officer, show your arguments. Refute it. If you can, of course.
Do not scold the officer, show what he is wrong about.

What arguments? You've offered his opinion and pointed to his credentials. I disagree with his opinion. For one, it's not a proxy war. All we are doing is aiding Ukraine in a war that Russia started against Ukraine. That does not meet the definition of a proxy war.

Second, NATO isn't about to come apart. That's a putinist wet dream and nothing more.

If military specialists all agreed with each other you’d be able to put up a hell of a lot more backing to this theory than you’re doing. 1 F’in specialist and rather than explain to me why I shouldn’t worry about Russia threatening to nuke people when it’s threatening to nuke people, you instead hide behind his skirt and pretend like hes beyond doubt.

    what a joke

So far you are on record as both wanting us to make arguments while simultaneously arguing we aren’t experts so our opinions don’t count.

what a joke of a thread.

Do you think all NATO members are onboard with "you attack one of us, you attack all of us"?

The idiots in Europe are learning the hard way that if there is a war with Russia, it will destroy the EU, not the US. This is why NATO could fall apart. And it should.

Russia hit the port of Reni in ukie land today, 200 meters from NATO Romania.

And you haven't heard anything out of big bad NATO.

Edit: actually that is part of Romania that ukie land took in WW2 and refuses to give back.

Another attempt to divide the US and EU and break apart NATO. It won't work, Billy. But if the thug regime wants to pick a fight with NATO, let's go then and get it over with.

If you think that paper bear has a prayer of winning such a fight, you're in for quite a surprise.

I can't figure out what you're posting here there's a dead link and a random youtube video ......"Military expert" where does it say that .....

    upload_2023-7-24_21-42-41.png and what is he

FYI...doesn't say anything about anyone....specialist or not.....this is just another random monetised click channel for pro-Russian UI's.

It's just clickbait...some random person double posting 3rd party video and making cash out of it. It's even got the usual royalty free sinister music.

and...no need to reply but if you think it so essential then can we assume your reply will have the usual ahahaha and :roflol::roflol:and so let's not bother with them...

"Big bad" NATO is a defensive alliance, not a thug regime that uses violence and other forms of intimidation and coercion, so you won't hear much, but the thug regime will sure feel it if they do try taking a swing at us.

If those punks in Moscow actually try taking a swing, it will likely go a little something like this:

Except I don't think USAndrew will go nearly as easy on Benderstan as he does here.

You misunderstand. The Russians are not threatening to launch a nuclear strike. The Russians are warning of a nuclear strike if necessary. And they will do it. Just because, as everyone knows, "the Russians will go to heaven, but the rest will just die."
And the American military expert knows this very well.

Interestingly, when you need medical help, do you turn to a specialist in this field or are you not interested in the opinion of a specialist because you have your own?
....Or do you still need the help of a specialist?

In fact, Article 5 of NATO means nothing. All the talk that if one NATO country is attacked, then the NATO countries will all start fighting together is banal PR that has nothing under it.And to understand this, just read Article 5 of the NATO Charter.
    Article 5
"The Parties agree that an armed attack on one or more of them in Europe or North America should be considered as an attack on them all, and, consequently, they agree that if such an armed attack occurs, each of them in the exercise of the right to individual or collective self-defense recognized by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations Of the United Nations, will provide assistance to the Party or Parties subjected to such an attack, immediately taking, individually and jointly with other Parties, such actions as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain security in the North Atlantic region. " https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natolive/official_texts_17120.htm
such actions as it deems necessary - is a key concept. In other words, NATO countries can express concern, or send a couple of crates of stew to help....In general, you understand.

Lawrence Wilkerson is a retired United States Army colonel and former Chief of Staff to United States Secretary of State Colin Powell.

But, of course, you are more aware of the subtleties of military strategies and military-political alliances.
