Actually, the rest of the world has known that for about 7 decades now. Americans have been coming around just recently.

They can concede on the 67 borders and give Israel a defensible border.

None of it. They've effectively abandoned the right of return years ago in private negotiations with Israel. Google "the Palestine Papers". They won't recognise Israel as a Jewish state because of the Palestinian minority there. There are already Israeli politicians who want to kick them all out or take away their citizenship, Palestinians aren't going to help them. Nobody in the region is going to start a war with Israel. Israel's army is a smaller version of the US army thanks to decades of American welfare payments to Israel so there's zero chance of them being "overwhelmed."

Israel did quite an effective job of defending the 1967 borders in, oh, what year was it? 1967? Yes, I think it was. And since then their military has become exponentially stronger and the Arabs far weaker. So Israel should just about manage to defend their 1967 borders again.

It's Israel who need to give the Palestinians a border instead of building all over land that everybody agrees is legally Palestinian territory.

The rights of Israeli Arabs could be finessed. I don't find your stated rationale for the unwillingness to formally recognize Israel as a Jewish state credible. Deceit is a tool of statecraft.

I heard the PA ambassador to the US (I don't see the need for US/PA relations) in an interview on CSPAN today. He said that the Palestinians recognize Israel, but not as a Jewish state. I believe him.

I am not pro-Israel. I am anti-Palestine. The Palestinians have made common cause with the American left. The friend of my enemy is my enemy. Consequently, I will never accept Palestine.

Thus, many Zionists acknowledge that they are unconditionally racist and hardcore European Guilt Complex abusers.

My parents hated Jews. I am hardly a Zionist. The friend of my enemy is my enemy. Palestinians are allied with the American left.

Nobody likes the Swiss. They aren't serious people. They don't know the meaning of words like racism and fascism. Thus, they are subject to ridicule and disdain.

With "nobody", you must mean Nazis and some Zionists. Nazis and some Zionists do seem to have a passion for racist generalizations.

That's what you mean. With "nobody" you mean Nazis and some Zionists, the ones who have a bad habit of blasting Europeans with racist hatred, as demonstrated. What caused Nazis and many Zionists to become so heavily racist?

That's the thing. They don't want them finessed. They want their democratic rights. And the Ambassador on CSPAN said exactly what I'm saying. The Palestinians will recognise Israel but not at the expense of their 20% Palestinian minority. The American left support the Palestinian position because it's the correct legal position. Israel are illegally occupying Palestinian land and causing a lot of the trouble in the Middle East due to it. That's why the American left and pretty much the rest of the world wants Israel to end its illegal occupation and make peace.

Why would they do that? The Arabs who've been living there for centruries if not 1000's of years would lose their rights - and they also have rights.

Israel should be recognised as a state just not a Jewish one, one like all our Western countries, not based on religion.

I think you need to ask israeli arabs that, as much as i know they have full rights like any other citizen in Israel.

Come on, get real......Likud is the lead party in a coalition which includes Yisrael Beitenu, Shas, Jewish Home.plus a token left of centre presence in what is left of The Labour Party.....so the majority of the Coalition are against land for peace.or, as it turns out, peace at all.
