Great now that we have my age out of the question let's discuss the more pertinent issue, why does my position suck?

Is it because it scares you? You were taught as a kid that what I believe in is evil? Or do you have some non-emotional argument as to why it wouldn't work.

It's fascist and thus is evil.

But why is it evil? Because your history teacher told you so? I could just as easily say capitalism and democracy is evil.

Fascism is evil because of what it does and how it treats its subjects. The Darwin Party is the antithesis of liberty, and I will fight against your beliefs to my end.

All rightey’ then! A new usual suspect! Congrats! Not an insult just an observation~ Some usual suspects revel in their membership!

FYI, usually, if not in an philosophy 101 debate class the term and the word 'evil' is a judgment call ie subjective. I am sure Sig knows that. As you pointed out by example 'evil' means different things to different people, another example; Hitler would not be evil according to most Nazi's. He would be exceedingly evil to most Jewish people.

Good call JN! And thanks to you Darwin Party. When I ask what seems like personal information I am not being malicious or mean, despite taking a bit of a shot at you earlier. I too feel I debate better when I know as much as possible about my debate partner. I am not as harsh or judgmental on very young people and sometimes I am not so mean to females, just because. Usually its a mistake to go easy on the women, because some of the females are as predatory as a female leopard, and I think women make better debaters due to the psychological make up, all other things being equal.

Personally I answer almost any questions about myself etc.

why is it "evil"? it simply means a government with absolute control, sometimes that's what people need. I personally don't think democracy works well, esp not now. i mean it seems like nothing ever gets done, as you saw a few months ago congress couldn't come to a conclusion on the tax budget. with one ruler things get done, they can still have a group of advisers, but then it's not a bunch of men squabbling over what to do.

We live in a fascist country. I thought that was good and decent? I'm confused.

How pathetic, I made points that you couldn't counter, so you instead ignore my post.

This just proves how flimsy your argument is. I'll post it once again:

If you ignore this post, then it's obvious that you know I'm right and can't counter my argument.

A kind of ridiculous statement; " more inexperienced because their brains have become hard ". Hard huh? Well I can tell you that if that was true (its not) its the only thing that gets harder with age. I will tell you that brains do lose weight after puberty. So you too are on your way to brain geezerhood...still the weight loss is guided by genetic predisposition. That said, judging by every comment you have made thus far, I must tell you I fear you may already have the early onset of Alzheimer’s.

If your brain does not waste away to a single cell in a day or two, remember this true statement; ‘Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and vigor….’

People with the most common sense and intelligence decide who is inferior.

So, how do you make sure the people with the most common sense and intelligence are in power? What if the government doesn't like your version of intelligent or just doesn't agree with you?

His idea seems pretty half baked, I don't think he thought it out at all.

Every time I make a post he either ignores it, or responds with a short answer and then logs off.

Well, I'm certainly not reading 17 pages of replies to a stupid idea. Hopefully you got through even if that wasnt acknowledged.

I have issued people direct challenges on here or debunked their rubbish posts, and they just vanish, running away with their tails between their legs. Happens all the time.

I think age is indeed a factor.

If you are around 20, I totally assure you that who you are today, will most likely not be who you are when you are 40.

Age, time, life experience, all of that will shape your future thinking.

I am not who I was when I was 20.

I am a better person today, I know this within myself, and by my actions.

And my brain isn't 'hard', at the age of 43.

I am ALWAYS prepared to taken on new information, and amend my views in accordance, indeed, I apply the scientific method to my thinking.

Do you share these views you have with your real friends?

    Or you partner, if applicable?

    Or your parents?

Be honest - what do they make of you?

When most people (if not in philosophy 101) say something or someone is evil it means they enjoy seeing other suffer or have no empathy or conscious. As a spiritual person I feel real evil does exist. If someone suddenly proved that God did not exist to an accuracy of 100%, then I would reverse my position and would say ‘true evil’ did not exist either.

No one can prove a negative.

Can you prove 100% that the Cosmic Teapot does not exist?

If I claim that it does, then the onus is on me to prove that, not for you to prove that it doesn't.

    Same with all gods.

It might work, so long as members of The Party are automatically denied a breeding license. Clearly they aren't intelligent enough to breed if they're members of the Darwin Party.
