No, the fact is that you, like all statists, refuse to be consistent, refuse to take your own arguments to their logical conclusion, and refuse to be principled. Instead, you want to focus of wishy-washy, utilitarian debates about outcomes and cost-benefit. You want to throw out principle, so you can pick and choose based on what you subjectively perceive will bring about an outcome you prefer.
