I wanted to know why you thought it was relevant that Trump knew about the meeting. You then went on to make baseless claims involving "Russiagate".
You have no evidence to support your claims. I am attempting to enlighten you, about the effects your baseless claims, are having on this country.

Considering I live in this country. I would like to know why you don't care.

You keep saying that, but there is no way to prove it.

They all conspire to sell the USA down the river? There are some other representatives that are likely hiding their own dirty dealings but to say "all" is beyond ludicrous and to have a so called POTUS kowtowing to and in bed with a foreign adversary that has attacked the USA is nauseating, not acceptable and has never happened in this nation's history.

1st You have no Idea as to the character of Donald Trump the only thing you do have is a false characteriztion writ large in the in the fact that you think a guy who constantly talks of we, our and us is a crazy narcissist, which is not at all how a narcissist speaks. You want to hear how a classic narcissist speaks listen to any of Obama Speeches it's a litany of me, my, and I. Trump constantly shares credit, Obama never did. In short you have no idea who Trump is. He is wholly alien to you. Therefore your guesses about what he does and how he operates aren't even in the ballpark for the most part.

And even if you were right there is no collusion. Collusion requires evil intent and discovering evil intent and actions on the part of a long time political hack is scarcely evil.

You are using the word "attacked" pretty loose there. So I will too.
The Democrats actually did that in 96. They were actually taking money. It wasn't even a crime back then. How many of those people are still in office?
One of the people who benefited from the scheme was a nominee for President in the last election.

I know it goes against your mantra, but, for the record, there was nothing illegal with anything to do with the Trump Tower meeting.

Well you misread my posts, if you read them at all. Trump is only guilty of doing legal and proper things. If Trump did anything illegal or untoward regarding colluding with Russians on the election Mueller would have shouted it from the rooftops. Instead he shoved that investigation onto the turned off back burner.

You know Trump will remain in office until at least January 2021.
You know there's nothing you can do about it.

You not only ignore reality, you also ignore my posts. In them I have provided a great deal of circumstantial evidence and major claims that Trump knew and approved of the meeting. You have failed to criticize the evidence or my claims. You simply ignore them.

Of course, that fits a pattern of most Trump supporters. They are not fans of reality.

In post #229 another poster provided my initial evidence. More evidence followed. You ignored all of it. Please deal with the evidence provided in post #229. What did I get wrong?

Put your money where your mouth is or make yourself irrelevant. Your choice.

That request is made to other Trump supporters who have ignored the evidence.

Trump knowing about the meeting is irrelevant to my point. This is important. The meeting to me, means nothing. I will get to then on the next point.

There is no crown prosecutor that's #1.
Crown Prosecutor is a term that is used in monarchial government referring to what we would call a state's prosecutor. That is a Lawyer who prosecutes crimes on the states behalf.
That opening line, I am already thinking that this guy doesn't know what he is talking about. It is already starting to sound like a scam to me.
Add on that So and so, told me to tell so and so, told me to tell so and so. It sounds like BS. Jr. didn't think so, because he is stupid.

If they did have evidence Clinton is a dirty, lying, rat. There is nothing illegal about meeting with them to obtain that evidence.

I have already covered the support.
I support Donald Trump. If I had evidence Clinton was a dirty, lying, rat. I would have probably considered giving it to Donald Trump as well.

I don't see how this is relevant. It's better if he's the only one talking it makes the white house seem like less of a cluster ****. I don't see how you can link this to Russia.

    I don't believe him.
I don't understand why you think it would be helpful, politically, for him to say he knew about the meeting.
Especially when there are people like you running around pretending he is a Manchurian candidate.

How would it have gone, you think? Would this end if he didn't lie? That's ridiculous. I would have lied if I were him. We are living in an era of new wave McCarthyism.

Our own government has released reports they found no evidence of collusion and they have access to a lot more info than you or I. - That's stronger than any "evidence" you can give me. It shows there was no collusion.

On July 25th, Trump held a news conference with the president of the EU. He took two softball questions from reporters that were so unimportant, the questions and his answers were deemed not newsworthy, and they did not appear on the evening news.

This is indicative of the premise that what Trump says is no longer important ... if it ever was.

Those are the only questions from reporters Trump has answered in over two weeks. He truly has become the most secretive President in American history.

Honestly, few are disappointed. The less from him the better. They won't admit it, but the White House and his closest advisors feel the same way.

The White House today pulled out all the stops to contradict what the President has said recently about Russian interference in our elections. To illustrate the problem for the White House, a reporter asked, "So should Americans believe that he is listening to your advice or that he's going his own way when he's having meetings like he did with the president of Russia?"

Trump's NSA, John Bolton replied, "I think the president has made it abundantly clear to everybody who has responsibility in this area that he cares deeply about it and that he expects them to do their jobs to their fullest ability and that he supports them fully."

Well, no, he has not made that clear. Standing alongside Putin, Trump said, “They [Coats, DNI] said, ‘I think it is Russia.’ I have President Putin. He just said it is not Russia. I will say this: I do not see any reason why it would be. I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial.”

The next day, making an attempt at damage control, Trump said, "I accept our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia's meddling in the 2016 election took place. Could be other people also. A lot of people out there. But there was no collusion."

"This is a terrible situation and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further," Trump tweeted yesterday.

When asked about Helsinki, Dan Coats, Trump's chosen DNI chief, did his best to explain he was simply ignoring the President. “I'm not in a position to either understand fully or talk about what happened in Helsinki,” Coats said matter-of-factly. That is diplomatic speak for, "I don't give a rat's ass what Trump said at Helsinki."

Truth be known, we all want to forget what Trump said at Helsinki.

With each passing day it is becoming more and more clear that we should simply ignore what Trump tweets or says. He doesn't even speak for the White House or his closest advisors who are simply ignoring what he says and are talking their fight to the Russians, their meaningless, bogus loyalty rhetoric notwithstanding. They are not about to tell a national television audience that they are ignoring the President.

    Actions speak louder than words.

Thank you for presenting your viewpoints. I am not going to waste my time with them. I wouldn't know where to start, crown prosecutor, Manchurian candidate, McCarthyism, where? "Trump knowing about the meeting is irrelevant to my point." :roflol:Okay, have it your way.

I suspect it's a bit more complicated than that. As much as I hate to acknowledge it, I think Obama's skin color was partially responsible. That caused a silent but powerful racial response from those uncomfortable with his blackness. I also feel the Republican Party leadership failed to deal with Trump effectively during the Primaries. I also feel strongly that the media was largely responsible for Trump's ultimate victory because of their insane level of attention given him on every news show to the exclusion of everything else. His media coverage dwarfed that given to Hillary throughout the campaign, and I am totally convinced that life gives us what we concentrate on.

That's right. This has everything to do with the activities of Trump and the members of his campaign team.

Why did he hire a known bag man for the Russians as his campaign manager? Manafort's second in command, also a member of Trump's team, also had strong connections to the Russian government. Others on Trump's campaign team had connections to the Russians, and his son, son-in-law, and campaign manager thought nothing of meeting with representatives of the Russian government at Trump's home.

All of this has very little to do with partisan politics.

Doesn't all this make you just a little suspicious? Or, are you just shutting your eyes to it all and labeling it "partisan politics?"

It isn't that Trump met with Russian diplomats that's the problem. It's the WAY he did it that's the problem. The only press representatives allowed in the room were the Russian reporters. The only photos allowed to be taken were by Russian photographers. One of the Russian diplomats was known to be both a recruiter & trainer of spies. Yet, Trump allowed no American in that meeting except himself. I know Trump campaigned on the idea--often voiced during his campaign--that "Only I can do it." Americans have never been a people to support one man rule, yet Trump's base appears to regard him as infallible. For me personally, that is itself un-American.

Why do Democrats constantly claim republicans are sensitive to skin color?

We encourage blacks to join us. We have some very very loyal blacks and yet those get insulted by Democrats. i figure that is over their skin color.

The only Russians with Putin translated for him. And of course Trump had his own translator repeating in Russian.

I wasn't referring to the recent summit between Trump & Putin in Helsinki. I was referring to the first meeting between Trump & Russian diplomats in Washington DC, soon after Trump was inaugurated. But Trump repeated the mistake with Putin in Helsinki. Trump is convinced he can do everything alone. That's synonymous with one man rule--and that's synonymous with dictatorship. His inability to trust anyone other than himself creates a problem for the Presidency, and by default, the U.S.

Yes.. because this belief disbands Congress and nullifies the constitution.

I am sceptical of everything. I can darw a conclusion that maybe Trump knew about the social media campaign. But even that's a stretch. I do not think that if Trump knew they were promiting him online, he was aware of the methods being used. I find it hard to believe that he was part of the planning.
I have any extremely hard time believing Trump knew anything about Podesta and the DNC. Maybe a little bird, Roger Stone.. told him the data exised. But everyone assumed it was coming anyway. Our own intel agencies say the Russias we're anti Clinton as opposed to Pro-Trump until later in the campaign. The hacking took place pretty early on.

If the Democrats had been on the level it would not have mattered anyway. The voters deserved to know.
It's ashame they didn't get the GOP as well.

This is partisan. I don't know how you can deny that. The republicans are protecting him and the democrats are attacking. If the narritive is wrong it's going to do more harm than good.
