Freedom of information for elections was decided in a SCOTUS case. So that can easily turn this into a felony. Also, state tax fraud, on top of the fraudulent sourcing of the money, can turn this into a felony. It's Bragg's onus to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

Trumps campaign didnt make any payments to the lawyer. Unlike The Hillary campaign and DNC that made the payments to their lawyer.

 

Trump made the payments, with the intent of influencing the election. The payments were recorded as legal expenses paid to Michael Cohen.

Trump made the payments to protect his reputation in business and marriage. Unlike Hillary's payments to create the Russia Russia conspiracy was purely for the benefit of her campaign.

It is HOW that payment was made.. The real issue is why on earth does he need to protect his marriage and business by doing something like this?? If he did not need to hide something that he did ....he would not be in this fix.
He could have avoided all this with more respectable and responsible behavior. He is responsible for his actions. It is embarrassing to watch some defend his unethical, immoral, illegal behavior as if it is insignificant. Normalizing it is setting a really bad example. and a very low standard.

IF that was the case, we would not be repeating the information over and over to those that choose deny that he did anything wrong. .or put some twist onto it to make it more palatable.
Bottom line: it will depend on how good the lawyers are on both sides........and what the witnesses reveal. Trump brought all this on himself. He got a lot of people in trouble with his conduct and managed to escape consequences because he is a con man. But it is time for him to face those consequences. This court experience might foster some maturity........ or just more juvenile rage.

 

What evidence is there for that? Everyone already knew he had numerous affairs and when did he ever care what people thought. Remember Trump is "smart" when paying no taxes
