You don't need to worry about my health, you have enough concerns of your own. I'll try to remember you in my prayers. I know you probably think their worthless and meaningless, but it's the best thing I know to do.

Well I've turned over my king a couple of times in a debate.
I never was one for not taking responsibility for any mistake I make.
However my principals, my faith, my choices I do not give up for nobody.

I'm nearly blind as well, without corrective eye wear I couldn't even see my monitor. =)

I only do as much editing as I do because I'm vain and worry far more than I should what other posters think of my posts.

Nope, no formal training. I learn all the time though from fellow posters how to approach a discussion, there are a lot of really smart people on this board and much can be learned through simply reading and taking a few minutes to think through what you plan on saying before you say it. I edit my posts heavily before I ever post them.

I try to write in ways that not only express my opinion but are also enjoyable for others to read. So sorry if I come off as crass or harsh. I'm just trying to make my posts worth reading =)

That drives me a little nuts too.
I've hd that done to me couple of times, but I figure if I have to take it I can dish it out as well.

      Perhaps you need a break.
When I feel like that I stop debating and cruise the off topic, humor threads.

As for CIA or any right winger especialy those to the far right all you need to upset them is a good interogitive sentence or a good question if you will.
      Right ringers hate questions.
Capitialism is based on statements not answers.
To question the advantage of Capitalism from it's foundation to it's current state for the average worker.
      Well, you get the idea.

I only state the truth but that is my opinion I'm sure others might see things differantly Some may see things the same..

Best wishes to the model Irina V,
Please assure her she has only a fan not stalker lol,lol

The differance between infatuation and beauty can be measured by the ton or by the ounce.

Personly if I had the opportunity to chose between Coco Rocha and Irina V. {which will never happen} I would choose Irina V. no contest.

I know you are probably sleeping right now but I grabbed a minute. I sent hubby to the store and then we are going to cook and watch a movie. I need some real downtime this week!

My husband is special but I am still not sure my job was a good place to surprise me like that! My sister and my best friend Connie were hilarious....they both said right away they advised him against that but he was sooo sure he knew me better. Connie told him that testicles impair brain function, oh I love her. She is wonderfully unique. I was glad her and my husband got to know each other better...he said he now understands why I love her and she is EVIL as hell.

At one point we fell right back to old patterns where me, my sister and connie all gave anthony (Ian's dad) a hard time. He has been "hated" for years. It all felt so good I cried and cried. He even enjoyed it (he certainly had years to adjust to it).

Tiffany (his girlfriend/wife had some difficulties but her and I were able to take a walk and talk and I think she felt better). She hadnt ever really been around he and I together much so some things caught her off guard I think.

My hubby showed me how genuinely secure he is. Anthony said and illustrated some things that might make some men uncomfortable but my husband was amazing. I definitely have a great guy and I am not sure I deserve him but I am selfish enough to go ahead and keep him anyway. He sucks on gifts, never brings flowers and says valentines day is a scam but he is always right there in the areas that count.

I just feel like paying more attention to the positive wonderful things in my life and a bit less on the negative bickering sorts of stuff is all. I think political discussion is great and important, but I think for me right now something different needs attention.

You will definitely be hearing lots from me....you wont notice I am gone at all!!!

You are talented and I shared your emails about Fred and everyone thought you were great! They all loved the ice cream theft too :) Connie of course suggested banks might be more lucrative hahaha!

I think it would be GREAT if you and Alice got married! Just dont make her toooo honest, that wouldnt be any fun.

      HUGS!

BTW, we are headed out with the dog for a walk. We are headed to the lake with him and I think I will bring the camera and take some pics! I am also going to splurge and stop by the bakery and grab some fresh goodies to have with coffee when we get back. I am sooo spoiling myself! I feel so indulgent. I am not even going to worry about how much sugar. My hubby seems rather excited about this (he is such a kid sometimes!)

Oh I know what you mean about wishing there were a heaven. It would be nice to be immortal and to never have to say good bye and it be more of a "see you later" and mean it.

Oh 18! I am not ready at all. He has one more year of high school and plans on living at home during college....but he might end up at a college far away and live a dorm life. We will see. He seems in no hurry to leave anyway. He loves giving me a hard time for being over protective but I also dont think he is ready to embrace adulthood quite yet either. I think as much as he pokes fun at me being over-protective, he also finds his own comfort in it.

My poor husband. He miscalculated a bit but his intentions were good. I dont think he grasped how intense this would be. He brought everyone to my JOB to surprise me. He had arranged with the school the use of the lunchroom and some food. My last class was over and I was talking to my students and they said I needed to report to the lunch room immediately. This was a very strange request and I thought maybe something was wrong. Students are nosy of course and followed me.

When I saw my family and friends...well I just collapsed into tears and lost the strength in my legs. It was the most ridiculous scene you could imagine. My sister, my best friend, neice and nephews...all crying. My son standing there looking shell shocked (my in laws picked him up from school and said they had a surprise for him).

My students looked totally scard by my reaction and they figured it out soon enough and were so worried for me LOL! I think it freaked them out a little and I would rather they have not witnessed my complete melt-down!

The hubby meant well, he just doesnt understand what its like to move to another country and leave behind family, friends and even your own personal history. No one can really understand until they experience it. I can NEVER go by a place and say "that was my favorite park to play in when I was a kid" or "my best friend lived in that house". I have no history here. I love it here and I have a life here now that I would miss if I left, but its different.

Its certainly made me weirdly emotional and reflective. I am not sure if I will participate on this board anymore either. After this last week or so, I want to fill my life with more positive things. I love my students, my family and friends and there some other things I have wanted to do more of but havent. I now realize there is no reason to put them off and the time I spent here I could have been doing those things.

Life is precious, I dont think I want to spend any more of it arguing with mean spiritied angry people...at least thats how I am feeling now.

I am lucky and I have a good life, I need to show it some more appreciation I think.

BAH, I am probably babbling incoherently. My mind has been a mass jumble of stuff I cant sort out in any organized logical way!!

But I wont lose touch with you...you are most definitely in the positive column of my life and to be appreciated.

      HUGS!

down to 10 per day is really a big accomplishment and will improve your health a great deal! Celebrate all the victories.

It was my sons birthday last weekend and he turned 18!!!! We did a big bash.

His dad, my best friend and her youngest son, my sister and my neice and 2 nephews all showed up together. They had planned this with my husband for months!

It was insane and crazy and I am feeling very emotional and find it hard to put into words. I did lots and lots and lots of crying, got a bit homesick and realized just how much I miss some people. I think after being here they also all realized that Ian and I are really really never moving back to the US. I guess everyone figured we would eventually, but now they see our life here and understand we wont.

This doesnt mean that I dont get very very homesick though nor does it mean that I dont miss people terribly. Who knows, a few of them thought about relocating here. My neice especially....but I dont know how I feel about that. It would mean being a long way from her mom and brothers and I dont know if I should support that.

It was great, it was and is very emotional and I am filled with both good and bad emotions on it all. LOL, but I am happy.
