She is in a 24 hr care facility and she has cancer. They are taking out her uterus and are doing tests to see if she still has evidence of marrow cancer. She has her good days and bad days. She sleeps alot. I go visit her often and managed to get her to come stay with me last weekend. I treated her like a queen but she can only eat mostly liquids right now. She loves cottage cheese. I will post a pic of her in my family album soon. She is pretty and my brothers are gorgeous and successful.

Ah, they aren't in order. Both of my daughters have careers but also do small modeling jobs. Lace is 20 and is my hairstylist. Marina (18 and her nicname is Ree) is my bank teller and she does some modeling. I haven't posted a pic of my younger son Kenny or any of my grandkids yet. My oldest son Jimmy is who I kept when I was rapped at 14 and abortion was illegal in the U.S. I wasn't about to give him up. So I am like an older sister although he worships me as his mom. I am only 15 years older than him and I am 54 now! Enjoy.

Anyway, you've always been a good sport. I am serious abut you reading about Reagan and Truman. Teddy Roosevelt too. "John Adams" by David McCullough is still the best book I ever read. Founding Brothers real good too. Those last two both won the Pulitzer, as did McCullough's "Truman". FDR .. Churchill ... you should never read a novel again, as the non-fiction is where its at.

You know early inthe Fox interview thread Mike was putting forth the argument that Couric treated Palin the same way Bratt treated Obama. Katie could't have been more patient with her. It was Palins uninterupted efforts at trying to answer that got her in trouble. Everyone treats Palin with kid gloves.

I was just checking here when you dropped the note on my pad. I was going to ask you where you were in South Texas. I was with my Dad in Corpus Christi when he died. A beautiful town regardless. And I have done a lot of rattlesnake hunting all over out there. We don't kill them. Just take pictures and have fun.
