    Who is actually starting to seem sort of benign compared to the damage Trump seems bent on, with NO checks from his own party...

    That was because of the base and it's deep values......the Rubles are all over the Republican party, the NRA and the Evangelical leaders now and that's corruption.

    Oh ...a PRESS CONFERENCE where Trump didn't follow the left script = "TREASON?"

    Really? Then WTF was:

    Allowing Putin to take control of 20% of our uranium reserves;

    Allowing the ILLEGAL EXPORT of yellow cake uranium;

    Reneging on the European Miissile Defense Shield because that's what Putin wanted;

    Secretly promising EVEN MORE "FLEXIBILITY" AFTER THAT BETRAYAL;

    Refusing the arm the Ukraine to fight back against Putin;

    Ordering our intel services to STAND DOWN, and NOT INTERFERE WITH RUSSIAN MEDDLING in the 2016 election?

    What TF WAS ALL THAT, if a PRESS CONFERENCE = "treason" in your view?

    What a stupid, childish response! Your fourth post on this thread and the best defense you can conceive is that Hurd is a hater. How pathetic.

    We entered WW1 because of attacks against our interests, including in the US and the killing of hundreds of American civilians. It was the right move.

    We entered WW2 because the US was attacked. It was the right move.

    If a NATO ally is attacked it is our duty to respond. It too will be the right move.

    Undermining the treaty is treasonous.

    No yellowcake has been exported from the US.

    Russia doesn't have control over 20% of US uranium.

    Entering WW1 happened due to the German-Mexican collaboration(so yeah...about that Mexico being an ally thing. Not really) it was a violation of the Monroe Doctrine. That had far more significance than the controversial Lusitania. I didn't bemoan Wilson's decision to go to war. It's what he did afterwards that screwed us all up.

    Now, WW2. Roosevelt did try to keep neutrality, however at the same time we entered Lend-Lease(a good move in hindsight, we bankrupted the British Empire.) And in response to Manchuria, we sanctioned the Japanese. This was the first of the modern day approach to US foreign policy. Of course, morally speaking the Rape of Nanking and Manchuria were lines drawn, but the sanctions didn't have any effect of stopping Japanese aggression, but in fact provoked it.

    In fact, given some historians, the belief is that Roosevelt wanted to enter the war but knew how unpopular it would be among American citizens, unless attacked first.

    We are not duty bound to protect other nations, we're not duty bound to lie down our lives for a non-US nation. Only if an ally is sincerely attacked for no reason should we consider(consider, not totally without abandon decide) to respond and go to war.

    Here we go again with the left trying to take your attention away from the huge successes in the economy and future prospects by talking about Russians, trollops, and genitalia.

    See link ... #42
    Putin can artificially inflate uranium prices through manipulating production, and creating domestic shortages. He has, and will continue to do so. The threat isn't nuclear weapons, it's RUble$ being collected by Putin'$ energy consortium$. Merkel has undermined US sanctions by keeping Putin flush with German petr dollar$ and it seems Clinton made a shady bargain with Vlad too. Try to keep up ...

    Bullshit on both counts. Why do you keep TRYING TO LIE ABOUT IT?

    Once again, for the UMPTEENTH TIME:

    Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal

    Beyond mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world, the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

    As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

    Uranium One deal led to some exports to Europe, memos show

    After the Obama administration approved the sale of a Canadian mining company with significant U.S. uranium reserves to a firm owned by Russia’s government, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission assured Congress and the public the new owners couldn’t export any raw nuclear fuel from America’s shores.

    No uranium produced at either facility may be exported,” the NRC declared in a November 2010 press release that announced that ARMZ, a subsidiary of the Russian state-owned Rosatom, had been approved to take ownership of the Uranium One mining firm and its American assets.

    The NRC never issued an export license to the Russian firm, a fact so engrained in the narrative of the Uranium One controversy that it showed up in The Washington Post’s official fact-checker site this week. “We have noted repeatedly that extracted uranium could not be exported by Russia without a license, which Rosatom does not have,” the Post reported on Monday, linking to the 2011 Barrasso letter.

    Yet NRC memos reviewed by The Hill show that it did approve the shipment of yellowcake uranium — the raw material used to make nuclear fuel and weapons — from the Russian-owned mines in the United States to Canada in 2012 through a third party. Later, the Obama administration approved some of that uranium going all the way to Europe, government documents show.
