If you don't believe in comparing past proxy records to current measurements then how did you come up with the claim that the inter-galacial period was warmer than today?

The only way you can, comparing proxy records.

An iceberg the size of Delaware is breaking off.
So Al Gore's prediction is going the right way.

But if the proxy records by your own admission don't match the real temperatures then how much sense does it make to compare two sets of inaccurate data?

Richard Branson flies here and there in his private jet, while ordering all you peons to tighten your belts, and stop burning those nasty fossil fuels.

Meanwhile his staff continues to work on a rocket to give filthy rich clients a ride into space for $250,000 per person.

YOU suffer. The Climate Sharia Priests will continue to preach *environmentalism* while practicing exactly the opposite.
    Like Al Gore.
    Like Barack Obama.
    Like Hollywood Glitterati.
    Like Leftists everywhere, grotesque hypocrites.
How about thousands of them driving hundreds of thousands of miles to protest and squeal for "science" and "environmentalism"....
Clueless as to their own self-contradictions.

Heh heh.... If the comment was made in July 2009, then the 96 month mark is now 26 days away. :bounce:

Liberals need to shut up while Al Gore, Jr. and I circumnavigate the globe on my boat through the North Pole.

many variables, heck, even oil spills help cool the planet, ironic as that is as they reflect light back into space

Nice. I am actually in town today too. I move around from my Henderson, NV place to my Costa Rica place to here.... I am doing some work over the next month, so I am around. It's good to sell your software company while still in your 40's.

Our suite at the Mirage last week.
We saw The Blue Man Group at the Luxor. Deafening. Horrible.
Childish. But then all of that was compounded by the worst buffet ever.

That's an older paper. More current is this...

    http://www.clim-past.net/12/1933/2016/

    ....from September 2016.

Here, we provide an independent assessment of the average LIG Greenland surface warming using ice core air isotopic composition (δ15N) and relationships between accumulation rate and temperature. The LIG surface temperature at the upstream NEEM deposition site without ice sheet altitude correction is estimated to be warmer by +8.5 ± 2.5 °C compared to the preindustrial period. This temperature estimate is consistent with the 7.5 ± 1.8 °C warming initially determined from NEEM water isotopes but at the upper end of the preindustrial period to LIG temperature difference of +5.2 ± 2.3 °C obtained at the NGRIP (North Greenland Ice Core Project) site by the same method.

8.5°C corresponds to 15.3°F. With the average global temperature being 57.2°F, an added 15.3°F makes the average temperature 72.5°F. That's much warmer than the previous estimate of 10.4°F from the previous Inter-Glacial Period.

Anyway, the partial melting of the Green Ice Sheet is just part and parcel of an ordinary Inter-Glacial Period.

Trump did American right by pulling out of the Paris Accord!

Other countries overpopulate and pollute the earth and Paris does nothing to hinder them.

THIS IS AWFUL: The First Impact of the Climate Deal Withdrawal: Falling Oil Prices.

The real, measurable impacts of Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris climate agreement are going to be few and far between, but the first one we’ve seen thus far has been a drop in the price of oil. This won’t hurt Trump with his voters: market participants think that the U.S. will now pump more oil, leading to long term lower oil prices. . . .

The recent growth we’ve seen in American production is the result of innovation and falling costs in shale drilling.

Trump’s announcement yesterday has further strengthened analysts’ belief that this Administration will do everything it can to help out America’s oil and gas industry.

Russia is paying close attention to U.S. oil production these days, and the CEO of the state-owned oil company Rosneft, Igor Sechin, publicly expressed concerns that surging American supplies could overcome petrostate efforts to cut production and push prices back up.

    That would be terrible.
