(Knoxville, TN – WREG) Desmond Hatchett is pleading with the state of Tennessee to help him pay for child support.

With 30 kids, who could afford to pay child support? Yes, 30 children by 11 different “baby mamas.”

Desmond explained how it all happened, well you know what we mean, “I had four kids in the same year. Twice.”

The children range in age from toddlers to 14 years old. He was last in court in 2009, at which time he had 21 children.

That means he’s had at least 9 more children in the last 3 years.

Hatchett only has a minimum wage job, which means some of the moms receive as little as… $1.49 a month.

 

I will say that it kills me when clients come in and say they got their money from both their baby mama and their wife.

 

Dont worry the government will skim your pay check to pay for all of them.

He needs to go to jail for failure to pay before he has 30 more kids and the rest of the folks in TN have to pay. I guess women in TN don't like birth control, either.

This is so sad for the kids... but I have no idea how you address this issue as a society in order to protect and help the kids without encouraging the behavior even more.

Forced sterilization is all I see, and we know how well that would go over.

Should the government be able to order by the ruling of a court the forced sterilization of somebody?

How else would we prevent them from reproducing irresponsibly? Should we jail him for inability to pay child support.

 

Sounds like a typical Obama voter- wants someone else to pay up for his irresponsibility.

 

If it were my State, I'd want the man subjected to forced sterilization and possibly a public lashing.

 

The guy's a deadbeat dad, but honestly... The women consented. If he had raped 11 women, it would be different. They knew the risks.

Mandatory child support doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless it comes with visitation rights. If the man revokes his visitation rights, then he shouldn't have to pay.

 

So you not only want this idiot to be financially free from the 30 children he's propogated but you want to use finances to encourage fathers to have nothing to do with their kids? You want this father, and other fathers to create kids and then have zero financial obligation? Your position is terrible for the kids and for our society.

 

So its Conservatives fault this man and the 11 women he had kids with didnt use BC??? HEAVEN FORBID someone making min wage would not sleep with multiple women when he already has a growing army of kids he isnt taking care of.
