Weight Watchers is a good diet and m/b the only one. My youngest daughter went on it after she had her daughter and she liked it b/c she was never hungry and it was healthy, natural foods.....

Someone needs to create a company like Weight Watchers where I can buy non-processed, non-GMO food.

I would pay a lot of money for the convenience of having the food delivered, and not having to do the research myself!

Might get Merc'd by Monsanto, but no risk, no reward!

Going to health food stores is not hard to do - try it, you might like it.

Ummm, not only are half the foods at the Health food stores GMO's, but half the "organic, free range" is drenched in pesticide, and pumped full of GMO's.

I mean why wouldn't you advertise as GMO-free, or free range, and charge more for the product when there is no law that says you have to be telling the truth?

This is what Prop 37 was about in California by the way. Our right to knowing what is in our food, and actually having a mechanism to enforce this right!

    Forgive me if I don't trust Koger-Monsanto-Dupont, but I don't!

Not saying this isn't true, but I'm saying that switching over to organic foods has really helped my daughter and SIL.

A relative who had taken a nutrition course at the college learned enuf about the junk in fast food places & processed foods in stores and he changed his eating to organic foods and noticed the change in how he feels...... and it's the same for me.

But I will keep your info in mind......

Do you mean "Kroger" or "Koger"? What don't you trust about them?

It's not any less bad for you if you fry them in veggie oil either.

I think a company that is in business should be in business to make a profit. If they do not make a profit they should not be in business. Why should my tax money be paid to a dairy to help pay for an increase in feed cost when they are going to charge me as much as they can for a gallon of milk?

I still remember the government dumping cheese in the ocean to prop up the price of cheese. They also pay farmers not to plant crops to inflate the price. The only kind of government help I would like to see farms recieve is crop insurance. Anything else is unfair to the consumer and the taxpayer.

For sure. I mean when I removed processed food, and soda from my diet, it was night and day how I felt.

I just wish I could know for sure where the food was coming from, without having to do the research myself.

Yeah, I meant Kroger. All these grocery stores are intertwined with Monsanto now, as they have all their store brand foods they sell, which profit margins are based on drenching them in Roundup, to return the crop yields they do.

The thing that is bad about onion rings is the breading.

Because of the Farm Bill, not hardly.

What about the drought, what about all those people of government over-regulating and controlling milk, milk has more government regulations than you most likely know if your only posting about the Farm Bill.

Why not address the State's individual regulations that prevent competition.

Why not address energy policy driving up all costs.

    Obfuscation through ignorance?

If you keep up with news stories on this, you know that it's only about the farm bill.

You mean if I limit my knowledge to only newspapers, cable news media, and the top google searches? I prefer to be much more informed, I will have to ignore your suggestion.

maybe for about a week and the price would have went down when retailers were looking at stock back up in their coolers.

Best fries I ever had were skin-on Idaho russets cooked in olive oil.

Unfortunately, olive oil is too expensive to fry in. Canola works, though.

retail coconut oil is pricey too, but blending it with corn oil has a nice effect. things get a little crispier, and it boosts the HDL count.

Many misconceptions about this.Look at Farmers and their wives.
On average they live long healthy lives. And yes,Farmers drink milk.
But forget Milk.Take yogurt { dairy product }.It's an extablished fact that yogurt
is exceptionally healthy. In fact, society's that consume yogurt daily have the
    longest lifespans.
The problem with Milk is when it became popular ro zap the crap out of it.
No longer the stuff the Milkman brought to yer door step in the morn
with cardboard caps and that plug of thick cream on top.
Pastuerization ended up removing whatever Vitamin D was in milk.
So the milk being consumed from the 60's was basically devoid of
Vitamin D.It was in effect worthless.
