Why did the troops need the very unhealthy foods that the citizens were asked to forego? Bizarro world.

War is unhealthy. Wheat, meat, sugar and fats sustain life.

Speaking of fashions (OK, so we weren't...)

Michelle on the campaign trail. Other than the garish color, I don't mind the outfit. Nobody who wants to hide their ample hips should wear a skirt with pleats in the front like that... but whatever. At least it's not skin tight and she's not wearing turquoise shoes.

I am tired of looking at her bare arms, though. She always looks like she's wearing a swim suit from the waist up. Boring.

[oh wait, she might be wearing turquoise shoes, now that I look again. Still... they're not orange]

[oh wait again, I think her belt is orange. But at least it's not a boob belt.]

Lighthearted as in discussing what she wears. Like this dress she wore in Charlotte last night. Strange print. Fits like a feed sack. Other than that, it's not too bad.

Hope she wears something 'classic' tonight.

    I know, fat chance, huh?

Guess you're just not into fashion. Michelle considers herself quite the trend-setter. We're just doing her a favor by following her fashion choices.

Do you (or your wife) own a pair of turquoise dress shoes? If not, you're woefully out of touch.

OMG. This dress didn't look too bad behind the podium... but WTF was she thinking?

Sorry, Michelle lovers. I think she pulled down the drapes from her daughter's bedroom and made herself a dress.

U-g-l-y & unflattering. Who picked this out???

It looks like a plastic dress, she bought it from walmart to pretend she can relate with the poor for their votes.

but wait...my store is connected on one side to a Dollar Store...are the veggies way over there? that's a LOOOONG walk in this summer heat! don't the lettuce wilt out there? wouldn't it make sense to put them IN the store where it's air conditioned? I am so confused! I better read it again!

the rain doesn't sit well with their hair, doesn't have anything to do with their clothes.

But those bare arms again!

So much reminiscent like those working women.... tch, tch, the indignities the White House has suffered with these kinds of plebeian occupants who don't even care about the proper flooring in their car elevators...

Ahh, yes... happier times. You know Michelle threw Oprah under the bus, don't you? Rumor has it since O's become comfortable with her larger self, she's bad for MO Let's Move program so she was taken off the A list. Can't believe you haven't noticed her absence at the last few WH events.

More good times... May 2011. (Michelle doesn't look too thrilled, does she? Must've been the beginning of the end.)

(like the orange & purple dress with orange shoes. Wonder why MO hasn't dragged that one outta the closet again?)

It's just a difference in tastes. MO dresses to stand out in a crowd. She always wears the brightest colors and boldest prints. Remember this outfit she wore to the children's award show? Metallica @ 50. Tacky, tacky, tacky.

Haven't heard from Michelle's Mirror lately... time to catch up on some fashion news:

... So enough about “The Speech.” Let’s talk about “The Dress” instead. A sexy little off-the-mismatched-shoulders number that would be as comfortable on a luxury cruise or a cocktail party on Martha’s Vineyard as it was central stage at the DNC.

For the Big Read, Granny R re-cycled her “evil Panda” frock from Val-Jar’s daughter’s wedding (BTW, we’re still waiting for those expensive wedding gifts to be redirected to Big Guy’s campaign fund).

You may see a mean Mickey, butt I see angry Pandas

The frock is by a little known designer, Laura Smalls who also designed the lovely little butt-tucker that Lady M wore earlier this week to the GLBT luncheon:

So while Big Guy may not have many bragging rights in the business building department, Lady M can chalk up yet another small dress designer business that she’s launched into the stratosphere. So when BO tells Ms. Small “You didn’t build that, somebody else did that for you!” she’ll probably agree.

Kudo’s to Laura: we may have to look at MO’s bony mis-matched shoulders, butt at least she covered the knobby knees.

For the first time in my MOTUS life, I’m proud of my FLOTUS.

    ***

Gotta say one thing for Michelle Obama... she's not afraid to show a little skin, is she?

    I mean ALL THE TIME.

didn't notice that, red finger nails would suit her better, never known anyone with blue unless they were children.
