So, this guy meets with a bunch of black community leaders in Chicago recently and wrote an article about their views on Obama's performance and reelection chances. It's interesting enough for it's own thread, so follow the link if you wanna check it out.

This paragraph was in his 'summary' of what he learned by sitting around in a diner chatting up Chicago insiders.

But look at those naked legs. What is it with the FL and stockings? Was she scared by a pair of pantyhose as a child or what??? From the knees up, she looks very nice. From the knees down, she looks unkept and lazy.

She and Mario should have traded footwear. I'm sure he would have enjoyed wearing the heels, while his would have better accented her dress/muumuu.

 

There is a photoshopped pic floating around with her wearing the orange clogs, too. I don't like to use fake pics in this thread, though. Michelle's wardrobe is strange enough without adding to it.

Speaking of fashion... here's what she wore yesterday to a Congressional Black Caucus awards dinner. Besides the fact that her speech was strange... 'voters rights are the new civil rights' -- who isn't eligible to vote in this country?? Another made-up War On.

But the real scene stealer is this dress.



Pretty sure I had a pleated skirt made outta that material when I was 10. Strange dress. Too much pits.

I think the yellow suit is hideous. The black dress would be way prettier in a bright blue or purple she looks best in. Imagine it with the left shoulder covered and it totally wins.

 

yeah, you've got a point. I think I just like the yellow because she's nearly covered up. I swear, I'm sick of seeing this woman's bare skin and the black pleated dress doesn't help. My home computer shows the fabric a little better... not sure if everybody can see it or not.. but it looks like crepe. Definitely an ole-lady fabric, esp with those awful pleats. Purple would be an improvement, but a lighter fabric and NO PLEATS would be even better. IOW, she shoulda ditched that dress and started all over.

Isn't there too much material on the 'toga' side of that dress? It looks funny to me... usually there's just a thin strip of fabric... this dress looks like it's got a whole top on that side. Weird.

The first lady attended the Congressional Black Caucus Gala in Washington, D.C. last evening, speaking with a strong message on voter rights:

"We cannot let anyone discourage us from casting our ballots. We cannot let anyone make us feel unwelcome in the voting booth. It is up to us to make sure that in every election, every voice is heard and every vote is counted."

For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a Michael Kors black georgette pleated one shoulder gown paired with a sparkly rhinestone belt at the waist. Of note, Mrs. O wore the same gown for the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony in June, here. This is the first time in memory that Mrs. O has repeated a formal ensemble.

The first lady was in North Carolina yesterday making campaign stops at East Carolina University and North Carolina Central University. On the tarmac in Raleigh-Durham, Mrs. O greeted children from Y.E. Smith elementary Museum School.

Who wears stripes around their hips? Strange dress... I could see her wearing it once... but twice?

OK, her arms are covered in the second pic, so it's not all bad. Just not what anyone would call a 'pretty dress.'

 

Her arms ARE covered with another tiny sweater. And, WTH does that mean "can't let anyone make us feel unwelcome in the voting booth"??? As if. Talk about being racist.

 

That's what I thought, too. Instead of the Dems War on Voting Rights they oughta call it Michelle's War on People Who Won't Be Voting for Her Husband.

The dress looks like something her 13 yr old daughter would look good in and are those red shoes? Again... we've got too much skin showing. I swear, Michelle would be make a great nudist... she must really hate wearing clothes. Doesn't she know there are meds for hot flashes these days? Geesh, cover it up, MO, we're tired of seeing your naked limbs.

 

He really is much more frail than I thought, my goodness. Little slumped shoulders, and painfully thin.


As for MO, well, as long as she is on stage with Woopie G... she looks like an angel.

 

Check out those shoes on Whoopie... finally, someone with worse taste in footwear than Michelle.
