Meanwhile, since I haven't been banned yet, I do not oppose gay marriage since, IMO, it's a 14th Amendment issue. As long as our government allows straight couples to have 1138 federal rights and benefits those laws should apply to everyone.

Personally, I'd just as soon get rid of most of those laws. Only keeping the laws applying to survivorship and parents.
