Of course an (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) like Stephanopoulos would overlook Hillary and the fact she is the boss of a crime family and will look for a way to impeach Trump.

Stephanopoulos is a hack. If he had any consistency at all he would have said the same thing about Obama's illegal wars in Libya and Syria.

ABC's Stephanopoulos: Trump Civil Suit Conviction Could Be 'Impeachable'

If Trump is convicted in this civil suit, I will personally lead the charge for impeachment; I will make it my life's passion, and I will not stop until he is removed from office by the senate.

That's right and the ball is in their court now. It is either perform or all of their asses will get thrown out in 2020. I hope Trump does not surround himself with neoCONs and Goldman Sachs lackeys. His very thin electoral coalition will reverse so fast it will make your head spin. Many Trump voters were sick of the idiotic nation building and war profiteering of the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama era, which Trump ran against in both the primaries and the general. Trump also ran as the man of the people against the Wall Street establishment. If Trump appoints neoCON warhawks like Bolton or Gingrich along with Goldman Sachs lackeys, he will have a very short run and will destroy the GOP for another couple terms. The Dems will no doubt start grooming some young talent with no baggage in the populist mode of Bernie Saunders regarding trade and the rigged Wall Street economic policies that Trump railed against. Trump has a short window of opportunity to at least prove he is not just another neoCON whore in bed with the war profiteering Wall Street Crowd. I hope he comes through and proves he is a man of his word and not just another empty vessel.

ROFL I don't think all of ya'll who were telling how Clinton would win based on opposition to conservative policies and Trump would lose are in any position to tell him what he should do or not do else not be reelected. Heck he hasn't even been sworn in yet.

You want to use the word "ethical" with the fool that the *********s have now voted for "the donald". Still quite hypocritical to use the ethical word with voting for "the donald."
    Stay tuned.

A typical "the donald" backer, whine all day long.
Let's see....... check this out which you won't or if you do you will not see the irony in your stupid statement.
During a lengthy discussion, the senior GOP members worked out a plan to repeatedly block Obama over the coming four years to try to ensure he would not be re-elected.

The disclosures – described as "appalling and sad" by Obama's chief strategist David Axelrod – undermine Republican claims that the president alone is to blame for the partisan deadlock in Washington.

A detailed account of who was present at the dinner on that January 20 night and the plan they worked out to bring down Obama is provided by Robert Draper in 'Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the US House of Representatives', published this week.

In his book, Draper opens with the heady atmosphere in Washington on the days running up to the inauguration and the day itself, which attracted 1.8 million to the mall to witness Obama being sworn in as America's first black president.

Those numbers contributed to a growing sense of unease among Republicans as much the defeat in the White House race the previous November. The 15 Republicans were in a sombre mood as they gathered at the Caucus Room in Washington, an upscale restaurant where a New York strip steak costs $51.

Attending the dinner were House members Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, Pete Hoekstra, Dan Lungren, Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan and Pete Sessions. From the Senate were Tom Coburn, Bob Corker, Jim DeMint, John Ensign and Jon Kyl. Others present were former House Speaker and future – and failed – presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and the Republican strategist Frank Luntz, who organised the dinner and sent out the invitations.

The dinner table was set in a square at Luntz's request so everyone could see one another and talk freely. The session lasted four hours and by the end the sombre mood had lifted: they had conceived a plan. They would take back the House in November 2010, which they did, and use it as a spear to mortally wound Obama in 2011 and take back the Senate and White House in 2012, Draper writes.

"If you act like you're the minority, you're going to stay in the minority," said Keven McCarthy, quoted by Draper. "We've gotta challenge them on every single bill and challenge them on every single campaign."

This whole thing has been so reminiscent to the Reagan era... I'd like to see Trump (if he does what he says he's gonna do) go two terms, then elect Pence in 2024. He'll only be 65.

Perhaps the Trump Network will put the other news stations out of business :D

Don't they stand a bigger chance to lose more seats in 2018?

Yeah I was thinking that the Trump victory wasn't the only shocker, but retaining majority in the Senate as well, because we had the most seats up for grabs. 2020's looking dim for the dems too.

With their vulnerability in 2018, they are less likely to filibuster.
Doesn't mean they won't do it at all, but they will have to pick their battles.

Amen to that. I've always held the position Trump is a wildcard, and he is. But, if he is a man of word & if he can cut through the fog of DC politics I think he'll do just fine. Those are big IF's though....&, there's going to be a lot of folks around with smiles on their faces who probably will knife him (politically speaking) if they get a chance.

Trump won partly by painting Bush, Clinton and several others in the primaries as nation building neoCONs and war mongers. Another large part of his message was that Bush, Clinton and others were in bed with Wall Street war profiteers and that it was a rigged game, much like Bernie Saunders said. If he comes in and surrounds himself with neoCON war profiteers and Goldman Sachs lackeys it will be immediately obvious that he was just blowing smoke, and he will pay for it in 2020.

Translation: my president elect who is highly despised by more than half the country actually received less votes overall than his equally despised opponent, and that fact bothers me.

It's irrelevant in your mind because you don't want to hear the fact that your president elect is a piece of garbage that very few people like. Hell, even many who voted for him only did so because they liked Clinton even less.

Who said I'm not living with it? I'm just laughing at the right declaring the end of Democrats and liberalism when their own candidate actually received less votes than the supposed "liberal candidate".

Good, keep laughing. enjoy. And while you're at it, maybe you can tell you're counterparts who are ripping up the flag & destroying property to stop being so hateful & angry and start laughing instead. Party on!

Could be GOP voters. Plenty of GOP voters loathe Trump, and didn't want him as their nominee.

And, plenty of DNC voters didn't want Hillary...they didn't vote & she lost. But, it's the Dem's & the snowflakes on the left that own the riots, just like they own BLM, OWS and all the hate that goes along with them. Live with it.

George is an idiot. You can't be "convicted" in a civil suit.

He sure didn't call for his boss to be impeached for that civil law suit even after the boss committed felonies during that civil law suit.

A sitting president is immune to both criminal and civil actions. It will have to wait until 2024.
