Ah, the side attempted insult. Fail. Freedom and liberty are anathama to MaO'Bama voters and leftists in general. This loser slipped through the cracks either through incompetence or progessive thinking that denied his mental illness was so acute. And his mother sounds like a real winner as well, this dude was sick and no one cared enough to really help him. No gun law will change that little fact.
That's a compliment. In the America I see reported on the news everyday people who are sane and coherent are certainly on the fringe now.
Absolute bias is never a good attribute. As to the use of the word fringe, It was in reference to a state of mind not within the realm of reason, out on it's own in a way. I never understand why people post superfluous jabs at the political position of a person, rather than adding some reasonable arguments to the debate. i.e. Coming out with "This is bad because it's a position held by people I do not like" is a useless argument, which only backfires to discredit your position. sorry... i'm just allergic to bull(*)(*)(*)(*)... Right or wrong, you throw bull(*)(*)(*)(*) on top, it smells like bull(*)(*)(*)(*).
True, if you are a member of any lunatic fringe freakshow group of whatever stripe then you are mainstream and acceptable. If you are a christian or even a non-religious person who loves liberty and freedom then you are anti-social and psychotic. Wrong is right, down is up, and so on. Leftists suck.
Truth is bias. Not really. Bias is a preference for some particular thing no matter its form. If loving liberty and freedom is a bias, then count me bias. You are the one who introduced fringe. Freedom is its own argument, taking away freedom, especially when that IS NOT the problem is useless, and that is most surely bovine scat.
Silly us. It's OK when FFBat takes "superfluous jabs" at people he disagrees with because he's a lib and they aren't. I keep forgetting how special the lefties are.
Satire isn't quite the realm of superfluous jabs, as I never name any group, so only those guilty would think i'm talking about them. As for those who call me Left... I say this: The left thinks i'm too far right, and the right thinks i'm too far left... so as far as i'm concerned... I'm probably correct.
Where did I talk about taking away freedom? I must be mistaken about my stance, please enlighten me to what I believe.
You mean one lefty who is so far left he thinks everyone else is a conservative. Most conservatives will see you for what you really are - a lefty.
It's not what you believe that counts. It's what the thundering herd of liberalism believes and you will go along with. Liberals do not need individual opinions or beliefs. The popular liberal culture will decide that for them. When Obama issues an executive order taking away some of our rights to own a gun you will be right there with him.
Ohh... see this whole time I thought I was of my own opinion... All my pro-gun arguments on here were obviously made under duress and I can't possibly have believed them... is that what you are saying? Glad we cleared that up.
You are pro-gun? In what way? By that I mean if Obama issues an executive order to take away some of our gun rights you will oppose him? I seriously doubt that but I think you'll have your chance to prove me wrong pretty soon.
If it walks like a duck. talks like a duck, it must be a duck. Make yourself understandable if you wish to be understood. Clever subtefuge serves you poorly.
I'm Pro-gun in that it's defined as a liberty by the constitution and liberty is explicitly protected by the constitution. I am consistently on the side of liberty, no matter the subject. Guns. For them. Abortion. Against it. Drugs. Against criminalization of them. Oppose, yes. go McVeigh, No. I mean what action would you do? Blow up a federal building? What is your threshold for opposing? Will I have to say goodbye to you before you blow yourself up over this? So if we hear about you martyring yourself for this issue... I'll have to eat my hat over this debate, until then... don't tell me my position.
I do not advise or condone anyone blowing up a post office to protest the dictatorship of Obama. Nor would I blow myself up. If you really are a libertarian we will have plenty of chances to agree in the future. But there are more than a few on this board claiming to be non-partisan or Libertarians who are anything but that.
Your anecdote that if something is consistently one way, it must be that way... befuddles me, as i'm confused how this relates to me. You need to be more clear.
I am of the belief that a closed mine breeds authoritarian desire. If one is of the mindset that if something doesn't fit into your schism of what is perfect, it's a cancer... and that's a disturbing way to approach people.
