Alien abduction cases.

Honestly, I cracked up too.

But I still believe his story.

 

Doesn't explain how someone can go from one state to another in a matter of minutes.

 

I bet if I asked you for actual evidence of this you wouldn't be able to provide me with any.

 

It was a story I read a long time ago. I am not sure if I read it in a book or online, and I don't know what year it took place in. All I know is that someone went to sleep and woke up in a field which was in a different state. They believed they were still in their home state, until they were told otherwise, and had to use a public phone to call home, who had become aware this person was mising and had launched a search party.

I am trying to find it, but with only vague memories its hard to find the right key words to google.

 

I too could travel somewhere and just claim that I had no memory of getting there......... in fact, it's happened the morning after a night on the (*)(*)(*)(*)!

 

Yeah but this case is documented and unsolved. Don't make fun of it when you haven't even read the story.
I've been searching everywhere but not even the website with a list of alien abductions mentions it.

 

Actually no. The entire alien sequence was Hollywood. Check out the Wiki article on the film... the whole alien scene is made up/is not what the guy said happened.

All of the above. I think it's ignorant to rule out the possibility that such a thing could have actually occurred at some point to somebody. But obviously the likelihood that most claims are true is astronomically small.

 

Well, the people of Point Pleasant, West Virginia swear by the "Mothman" and Indrid Cold. Taking into consideration, the fact of a US Army storage unit for poison gas started to leak due to the errosion of containers, I tend to take it for what it is worth.

 

I remember seeing an ABC (I think) news program where a neurologist reported that in an experiment he was doing on stimulating the brains of volunteers that when he stimulated a certain area, the subject would awaken with 'memories' of having been abducted, down to minute details of the aliens and their surroundings.

his speculation was that these 'memories' were in fact a form of epilepsy or misfiring in the brain that resulted in false memories..

 

Stand by what I say, many cultures share similarities in mythical beings, and incredible claims.

The Bible speaks of flying chariots and wheels in the sky, which today, someone might be keen to describe as a 'UFO'.

Doesn't mean that either the men of the Bible or the modern man that saw the 'UFO', was seeing anything that was controlled by intelligent life, does it?

How about Leprechauns?

Part of Irish mythology, yet when you think about it, what were they meant to be? Small humanoid beings, who 'played tricks'. A little like how one may today describe some 'aliens'.

All this proves is that however culture changes, and whatever length of time goes by, man is predisposed to fantasy, fable, and self delusion.

Surely cannot be hard to find then, one would imagine.

Anyway, I guess we cannot examine in, without a name, and some detail.

I would always rule out the obvious first.

Like I would need to know her mental health background, some comments from those that really knew her, if she had history for lying, but most of all, I would need to see some hard evidence that she was transported from one state to another, in mins.

That's just the way I roll.

Are you suggesting you are more inclined to believe one happened to you, if you believe in a god?

Anyway, on a related note, one man made an entire alien religion, out of his personal experiences - Raelianism. They believe that there is no invisible god, but that all life, including humans, was made by some advanced alien species, called the Elohim.

Rael claims to be half Eloha.

He also claims to have been taken to their planet, where he met Jesus, Moses, Buddah, and Mohammed.

And get this....he claims to be the half brother of Jesus.

 

To be fair, a similar excuse worked for Mary.

I don't see it. What's the similarities that you see between the ancient Chinese mythical beings in that picture and today's sc-fi UFOs?

He is a farmer, he can't make that up when he's absolutely no idea what today's aliens and ufos look like. He had never even heard of UFOs.

To them, it was also unidentified flying objects. Somthing that they don't understand flying in the sky, just the same as us today.

I wouldn't rule out the possibities that they may be some kind of failed alien experiments to create humanoid on earth.

How can a Chinese farmer could come up such excuse when he had never heard of ufos in his entire lifetime even if he cheated?

 

Yeah I know, Its just an issue of key words. You need to put the right words in for the right story to pop up, and nothing I have seen so far shows up.
