Montana - 0.67% AA

We are living in a time when the media is blaming "white males" for everything in the sun, so when you whine about actually speaking about black people it literally looks infantile to me.

LOL. Redlining and pushing their neighborhoods into poverty is NOT trying more jobs and education. That would be the definition of less jobs, less education, because they were redlined from getting loans.

 

Why would anyone be surprised at that? For the 1st 150 yrs, it was only white men doing the voting.

Once they secede and the north was in breach of the constitution then the territory is ceded back to the state from which it came. Making that the confederates fort and the union army sitting in confederate territory refusing to leave. Moreover Lincoln sent another army to reinforce it.

By EITHER measure that was a declaration of war.

Redlining isn’t even a thing. They weren’t redlined. They were simply victims of good lending practices.

Just like today, back then the black population had less income, they had worse credit and they had less collateral than their peers. As such they didn’t get as many loans or got them for a worse rate.

But that’s simply how lending works. If you’re going to lend someone 200,000$ and you have two people in front of you asking for it. One has collateral, a good job and good credit. The other one does not.

Will you give both people the same loan at the same rate? Of course you wouldn’t. You’d be an idiot to do that.
