Also consider all the smog we breath, poisons that our food is laced with etc. and yes there are major health concerns in America.

Yes second-hand smoke kills tens of thousands but then again, this thread is not about the leading cause of death in America. Nor did the op say this was the biggest deal people need to be concerned about. This thread is about violence in America. People have every right to talk about a specific aspect of America even if others think it's not the biggest fish to fry. Just like one can talk about drunk-driving related fatalities even though cancer kills more.

Or you people can keep whining about food stamps even though CORPORATE wellfare handouts to profitable corporations that neither need nor deserve them waste much more. How about that trillion the US is spending on the development and purchase of a fleet of F-35's, an INFERIOR fighter jet, just so an offense contractor can get paid? But still it's the food stamps.. People go on and on about the Muslim terrorist threat even though the Black and Latino gangbangers slaughter far more.. etc... Of course I whine about both those lesser fish being fried so I guess I'm being a bit of a hypocrite here. Oh well, too late now. But this thread is about violence... And as I've elaborated about in previous posts I feel that guns are NOT the blame for that and given the gang problem and the fact that it's a gun-legal country, the homicide rate is pretty darn good in the USA.

And europe will soon be too. It is because America has far more ethnic diversity than any other developed country.

Mexico and Brazil have far more violence, and guns are very restricted there.

Americans do not want to have to become fully reliant on the police for their protection, just because it makes some of them "feel" safer. Americans are not willing to surrender their freedom just because youth gangs, up to no good, shoot eachother in poor inner city ethnic neighborhoods, which is what most of the gun violence is.

Liberals are the ones who caused all this violence, the violence is highest in the liberal areas, and they are also the ones who have been the most vehemently in favor of high levels of immigration, which has flooded the country with poverty and social problems. Not to mention that many liberal cities welcome illegal immigrants with open arms, and then are surprised when their children turn into violent gang members. And now it's liberals who want to take away guns to try to solve the problems that THEY THEMSELVES have cause with their bad policies.

I say for starters we limit packs of cigarettes to hold less than 6 cigarettes and smokers attend a course to get a smokers ID card where they get training on the dangers of their secondhand smoke to others? Agree?
Also might not be a bad idea to teach them the fire hazard dangers they create and the public littering issue.

Nope we can also use the smoker ID card to subsidize those costs. That way people who smoke and kill other people pay more and people who dont smoke pay less.
Great idea right? Wow we are working together.

In Scotland we start fighting in the womb.

The most dangerous type of Scottish species is the 'wee man'.

To add to the confusion, sometimes the 'wee man', can be called 'big man'.

    All depends.

    Best not to take risks.

Easiest way to defuse possible scenario, offer something deep fried.

Anything will do. Even the cat.

Also, when a stranger says 'See you, come here a minute pal', it usually doesn't mean they want to establish a sixty second friendship.

The more they appear to be friendly, the more you are going to get your head kicked in.
