In a pig's eye. You may be happy with the notion of everyone starving to death around a campfire while singing kum bayah but I find the very idea to be insane.
Some ideologues like to appoint themselves as spokespersons for their "leftists", but the reality is that all advanced, democratic nations are pragmatic amalgams, achieving their primacy via enlightened capitalism and progressive social policies.
Yawn. I noticed you didn't address U.S. defense spending that allows many countries to forego their own military spending to fund social programs, taking advantage of the U.S. defense umbrella. Not important for those ideologues who like to appoint themselves as spokespersons for conservatives and libertarians?
Haha this is why I so enjoy debating liberals/progressives/socialists; whatever they don't agree with is a 'theory.' Here, educate yourself a bit, you'll be a better person for it: http://militarybudget.org/sweden/ https://www.pgpf.org/chart-archive/0053_defense-comparison https://www.forbes.com/sites/niallm...percentage-of-gdp-infographic-2/#7b18b38b4c47 If European and Nordic countries were forced to fund their own defense, they would not be able to fund so many social programs. In fact, they would do less than the U.S. does. Or, they would have to accommodate a sort of peace with Russia and China.
I like the way simply the word 'socialism' triggers a yelping "VENEZUELA!!!1!!1!1!!" from the trained seals.
When has true socialism not turned into communism? Venezuela is only a recent example, but many more millions were killed by their socialist/communist governments in the Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, Cuba etc...
Let's say we allow Russia to invade all of Europe. Is that good or bad for the US? Your scenario is pointless
How can we expect to run a nation using the example of a country that has a collective population smaller than NYC as an example of what to do? More, Scandinavia works because of their incredible non diversity. So, again, Venezuela??
Why is it pointless? U.S. taxpayers fund government health care in Europe. You don't see this? Really? I believe if the U.S. gave these countries a 10 year period to arm themselves against Russian and Chinese aggression, they would do so. And we could leave them to their selves, saving taxpayers a tremendous amount of money.
Nope. Feel free to offer proof to your 'theory.' If they had to fund their military to the level the U.S. provides them, they would not be able to fund healthcare or many other free **** they provide their citizens. Did you refer to the military links I provided? You're really being ignorant here...
Never? The Soviet Union? Cambodia? Cuba? China? Or, I get it; they just didn't do it 'right' like you guys would...
