    It is to Trump supporters who believe that's what he's saying.

    I'm not giving you the benefit of the doubt. I know that Trump supporters don't understand how Trump supporters think.

    They will do anything, believe anything, accept anything.... to demonstrate that their leader never errs. And never means never.

    This is why Presidents don't dwell in medical matters. Especially not in the middle of a health crisis. They allow medical experts to give the facts. They step back from the podium every time somebody asks a medical question. Because professionals know how to say things the proper way. And they don't produce fanatical reactions.

    When he was asked about this drug, Trump's words were "What do we have to lose"? Dr Fauci stepped in a few minutes later, and calmly and diplomatically corrected the President* explained things they way that they should have been explained. But whose going to listen to a doctor they never heard about over the guy they voted for for President?

    Got it?.... Of course you don't!

    If is NOT approving it for coronavirus. And you better become informed before you help pass that nonsense to people... Somebody might get hurt. Somebody already got hurt.

    People who are uninformed in normal times are just annoying. People who are uninformed in the middle of a health crisis are outright dangerous!

    The French doctor who INVENTED the drug is treating patients in a study AUTHORIZED by the French government. And it has just started last week, so actual results are not yet interpretable. It will take a while for that to happen.

    It is in the US that it is available to the general public, I gather. But not in France ...

    The drug was developed by the Doctor who is overseeing the study of its usage against COV-19.

    That study just started lat week and there are no final results yet as regards its effectiveness ...

    Your president is giving medical advice. And that medical advice has already killed somebody. You know he should never have done that. You know it's a sign of incompetence.

    What business is it of Trump to say that the water is good when the expert from his own government, who is standing right next to him, is screaming at the top of his lungs "That ain't water! That's bleach!"....

    For over three years Trump has been training his loyal followers to, in cases like these, automatically adopt the Trump mantra: "See that guy contradicting The Leader?... Fake news!"

    And when you use the mantra in situations instead of your once famous skepticism of bad Government.... these are the consequences.

    Hey! But Trump is here. And he's here to help! When did those words cease to be "the most terrifying words in the English language" to the right?
