I think he is in love with me. He keeps calling me "brucie".
His hostility springs from repressed homosexuality.
    Poor thing, huh?

At least you can finally admit that what you have been spewing about me is a fable, even though you refuse to admit that you have amended it from a previous one. But admitting that you are making up fables is a good step. Keep going. Integrity is a process.

If you believe fear is the absence of love, you are obviously not a parent.

No. He just likes to report people when he is getting lambasted by people that find his posts unbearable. His opponents are not as prone to using a parent figure to protect them, so he goes unharmed.
One time I made it a point of reporting his posts for a day and they got deleted or edited. It was fun, but in the end I really didn't care. His posts marginalize him far more than muzzling him does. Kind of like the First Amendment, it helps to identify the crazy people in society, rather than have them hide for fear of prosecution. They hang themselves on their freedom.

One would be wise to consider as well, the fantastic entertainment quality provided.
Let alone the ego boost inherent in knowing this member exists...it is a rather rare experience to run into this level in a lifetime.

Your right. It is rather empowering to the rest of us.
But pray for him nonetheless, for he knows not what he does.

Seemingly you are desiring to overlook the remainder of what I said on that subject. Here: Let me repeat it for you. "It is no fantasy when you have admitted that you left the pulpit because of the lies that you were telling the congregation."
Now putting that in conjunction with your claim that I am admitting to spewing fables about you.... this is the conclusion that can be reached. I still deny fabricating fables about you and still lean on your admissions ... therefore, the only "same old fable" is your constant lies about me fabricating a story about your past.

Well so much for your deductive abilities. I have four children and 8 grandchildren. Is there love expressed toward them... yes. Is there fear regarding their welfare...no. I leave their welfare as a matter between them and the Lord. So, take you phoney deductive reasoning back to the junkyard where you picked it up.

If by "that matter" you mean only the part you highlighted, then obviously yes we are, but thanks for ignoring the actual point yet again in order to perform some semantic trolling.

If by "that matter" though, you mean the ludicrous idea that every single scientific fact needs to be prefaced by the phrase "in my opinion", then I doubt any other person alive has that thought. In fact I rather doubt you have it either, I suspect you would be just pretending or insinuating. THATS RIGHT, I STATED AN OPINION, OMG SKY IS FALLING.

And yet your scripture has dozens of verses describing the fear of the Lord.
Are you stating that since fear is the absence of love, you hate God? You must, for fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, according to the scriptures you hold dear. Fearing God is wisdom according to scripture, but it is the absence of love according to you. It seems you must choose. You either hate the Lord, or you completely lack wisdom.
    Which will you choose?

Nope, that is what you are stating with your false interpretation of what I am saying. You are spewing forth yet another lie.

Then you must not hold those same scriptures dear.

    "New International Version (©2011)
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." So in your little assassination of the scripture, you are simply saying that you do not love God. If you love God (in perfectness), then there is no fear of God. And I love God, because God provides me with all that I need and sometimes what I want.

It seems that you have already made your choice, because you are certainly showing a lack of wisdom in your interpretation of scripture.

My choice has already been expressed above. Yours is the gift that keeps on attempting to assassinate scripture.

Since you seem to like the NIV, here are about 25 verses from that version about the fear of the Lord. This will only take you through Job, though, so when you figure out why these don't mean what they say, we will go on to 25 more.

    Genesis
22:12 "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son."

    Exodus
1:21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.

14:31 And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.

20:18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."

20:20 Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."

    Leviticus
19:14 "'Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the Lord.

25:17 Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the Lord your God.

    Deuteronomy
5:29 Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!

6:1,2 These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.

6:13 Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name.

6:24 The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

9:19 I feared the anger and wrath of the Lord, for he was angry enough with you to destroy you. But again the Lord listened to me.

10:12-13 And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

10:20 Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name.

31:12 Assemble the people--men, women and children, and the aliens living in your towns--so they can listen and learn to fear the Lord your God and follow carefully all the words of this law.

31:13 Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess."

    Joshua
4:23,24 For the Lord your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The Lord your God did to the Jordan just what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God."

24:14 "Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.

    1Samuel
12:14,15 If you fear the Lord and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the Lord your God--good! But if you do not obey the Lord, and if you rebel against his commands, his hand will be against you, as it was against your fathers.

12:24 But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.

    2Samuel
23:3-4 The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: 'When one rules over men in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God,

23:4 he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth.'

    1Chronicles
16:25-26 For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.

    2Chronicles
17:9,10 They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the Book of the Law of the Lord; they went around to all the towns of Judah and taught the people. The fear of the Lord fell on all the kingdoms of the lands surrounding Judah, so that they did not make war with Jehoshaphat.

20:29 The fear of God came upon all the kingdoms of the countries when they heard how the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel.

    Nehemiah
5:9 So I continued, "What you are doing is not right. Shouldn't you walk in the fear of our God to avoid the reproach of our Gentile enemies?

    Job
1:1 In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.

1:8-9 Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied.

2:3 Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason."

23:13-15 "But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? He does whatever he pleases. He carries out his decree against me, and many such plans he still has in store. That is why I am terrified before him; when I think of all this, I fear him.

28:28 And he said to man, 'The fear of the Lord--that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.'"

It is no personal attack, when he has admitted to telling lies to his former congregation, it is no lie that he left the pulpit because of his own personal fear of telling the congregation that he had been telling them lies. Then in the post which I was referencing when you quoted me, he admitted that he was "less than dishonest". No personal attack.... he admitted those things.

I am in love with the idea of fronting you out with all of your lies that you have been telling. You left the congregation because of you telling them lies, and then you come on this forum and are still hanging onto that same pathology. Good show dude.

Now, you sink to the level of making an unqualified non-certified psychological assessment when in fact you don't possess such qualifications. More of your lies.

So you figure that saying someone is telling a lie and not being able to support that claim is OK, and is not a personal attack? Show the alleged personal attacks.... better yet,,, IF you truly believe that there are personal attacks being made, then report them to the Moderators. Till then, I stand by my right to defend my own honor and make it a public issue when someone resorts to telling lies. Till then, go cry on someones shoulder who might care about those petty concerns. Now, put up or drop the crying routine.

You keep repeating the same old song, but you never provide the music for the song. Try a little evidence of what you are claiming.

Interesting. Why were you quoting the NIV then?
Anyway, here's your KJV starter kit.

Proverbs 8:13 - The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 1:7 - The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Matthew 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Proverbs 14:26 - In the fear of the LORD [is] strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

Luke 1:50 - And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation.

Psalms 33:8 - Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

Proverbs 14:27 - The fear of the LORD [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

Psalms 111:10 - The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

Exodus 20:20 - And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

Psalms 25:14 - The secret of the LORD [is] with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Job 28:28 - And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom; and to depart from evil [is] understanding.

Deuteronomy 10:12 - And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

1 Peter 2:17 - Honour all [men]. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

Philippians 2:12-13 - Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Read More...)

I never said I left the pulpit because I feared telling the congregation I was lying to them. Find that post. Do it or admit you are making up more fables to add to the litany of others you have made up over the last months.
The "less than dishonest" remark was a semantic stick in the ribs to elijah who screwed up his post. He meant to say I had been less than honest and reversed it, inadvertently accusing me of being honest. You either know that, or you are far more stupid than anyone on these boards. I don't think you are, though. I think you are simply that dishonest.
