Competency has variables. Just because I am not competent to render a medical diagnosis does not in any way indicate that I am not competent in other areas. Far be it from me to ever accuse you of being competent to speak on spiritual matters but that didn't stop you from making the attempt however. I would be willing to bet that you also are not competent to speak on matters of electronics, whereas I am. hahahahaahahahaha

Well, I can understand why you are amused at the absurdity of Russell's teapot, considering the original source of information concerning that teapot.

Yes, yes, I was clearly talking about the teapot being absurd, and it wasn't a metaphor for your equally absurd statement about being divinely guided in your debates here. You crack me up.

And you are the one crying about not being able to fight the autonomic nervous system which resulted in uncontrollable laughter.. with a stimulus. I would venture to say that you need to see a doctor about that problem of yours. LOL.

My point is already made. You cannot PROVE me wrong. You crack me up when you try so desperately to save face when confronted with a FACT regarding faith, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, that you cannot refute by showing evidence.

Well it is good that I am a stimulus.. let me stimulate a little more.... PROVE me wrong regarding God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, PROVE ME WRONG. They are all definitively a FACT. YOU CANNOT PROVE ME WRONG. I believe they are real, true and that they exist. PROVE ME WRONG.

    Simple:

    Fact:
    fact (fkt)
    n.
    1. Knowledge or information based on real occurrences: an account based on fact; a blur of fact and fancy.
    2.
    a. Something demonstrated to exist or known to have existed: Genetic engineering is now a fact. That Chaucer was a real person is an undisputed fact.
    b. A real occurrence; an event: had to prove the facts of the case.
    c. Something believed to be true or real:

    Exist:
    ex·ist (g-zst)
    intr.v. ex·ist·ed, ex·ist·ing, ex·ists
    1. To have actual being; be real.
    2. To have life; live: one of the worst actors that ever existed.
    3. To live at a minimal level; subsist: barely enough income on which to exist.
    4. To continue to be; persist: old customs that still exist in rural areas.
    5. To be present under certain circumstances or in a specified place; occur:"

See how nicely they tie together. To exist is to be 'real'... to be a fact is simply to believe something to be true or real. Therefore, because I believe both that God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the documentation of the Bible to be true and real, they exist.

    Now PROVE me wrong.

Bad day for you pal, because you obviously don't know the English language. Take your argument to the people who wrote the dictionary.

Try this one Gabriel1, it does not use the term 'believe':

    "fact (fækt)

    n.
    1. something that actually exists: Your fears have no basis in fact.
    2. something known to exist or to have happened.
    3. a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true.
    4. something said to be true or supposed to have happened.
    5. an actual or alleged event or circumstance, as distinguished from its legal effect or consequence. "

Just no getting around it. I said it is true and the things in the Bible happened, therefore it is a fact.

You mean you are opposed to that definition yet you say there is no need (to address the publishers of the dictionary regarding your concerns)? Wow.... !

Dude, your insane postings have taken this thread so far off subject that it is ridiculous. YOU need the rest, as you seem to not be paying attention.

The final conclusion is simply this: Gabriel1 cannot prove me wrong in my beliefs about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, or even the Bible. Why??? Because I believe they are all true and real and are therefore very much a FACT.

Why would I even contemplate doing anything you requested? End of story is the fact that you cannot prove me wrong in my belief concerning God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Bible; and because I believe them to be true and real, they are all very much a FACT.

If you did not care, you would not be putting so much energy into your attempts to ridicule. If as you say above, that you are not interested in my hallucinations or the hallucinations of any other theist, then you ought to move on along and stay off of religious discussion groups. As for showing you the real thing... I already did... I showed you where God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Bible are all real and are therefore FACT. Therefore, they are not hallucinations. BTW; speaking of hallucinations, I recall reading another of your posts where you blatantly admit that you do not reject such things as dark matter even though it has not been proven to exist. Hallucination dude, hallucination.
