The American way used to be that we made our own stuff, e.g., cars, electronics, etc. And the American way used to be that people could retire with a real pension plan. The American way used to be that people avoided debt and saved to buy expensive purchases.

The America way was not always a good thing. For example, the American way was that people believed what their government told them. That way of thinking started to end after 1968 thanks to the Vietnam war, the draft, and Tet. That being said, the libs are trying to bring back a robotic mentality that the Federal government is a fount of truth and wisdom.

It means a lot to the left because it provides special benefits, they even have parades and their own flag so you know exactly who they are. But the benefits are if youre a boy disguised as a girl then school systems will cover up your rapes. If you’re gay and black then certain DAs will look the other way if you commit a race hoax in Chicago. And if anyone belongs to any of the left’s pet groups, be they sexual, racial, religious or citizenship status, anything bad that happens to you happens because you’re a victim of the white man and he needs to pay and you are entitled to cash in.

Unfortunately the American way, when it existed, had large amounts of discrimination towards women and minorities. While it was great for some it was absolutely miserable for others. Perhaps if entire groups had not been subjugated to achieve this American way more people would long for it.
