That's what Republican leadership is down to - manufacturing controversy. They just stink at it. If they can't beat a black Muslim socialist community organizer from South Chicago, they are irrelevant.

I guess libs have decided it's safe to go into the water and admit that Obama is the odd duck in this society after all.

Hey man, can you make a case for how Obama knew Benghazi was a terror hours after attack, than he did not know, than for weeks no one knew anything? A case of amnesia, maybe? :)

How about Obama sleeping thru the attack on one of his Ambassadors, then going to the Sin City? Is he a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing Commander-in-Chief, or what? Can you imagine a General officer sleeping thru the attack on his division in time of peace? A court marshall would not be enough for him. Why then a court marshall (impeachment) is not being considered for (*)(*)(*)(*)ing General Obama?

You Liberals really ought to be ashamed of yourselves for blindly defending Community Organizer-in-Chief. He can't jump over the plank, even after you liberals set it so low, even he should be able to :)

OK, Internet Explorer 10 and this site don't work too well together.

Yeah, right-wing desperation, blah, blah, blah. C'mon guys -- you Democrats taught us all the right way to get right up a lying bastard's ass and into his rotten guts when you went after Richard Nixon in the Watergate scandal. Great job, too! Nixon was a dirty, lying bastard, and it took a Special Prosecutor to finally crowbar the son-of-a-***** out of office. Funny, I seem to remember that, at the time, all the Republican supporters were accusing Democrats of making a mountain out of molehill, and shrieking hysterically over nothing. SO, TELL YOU WHAT, boys -- let's appoint a Special Prosecutor NOW, and give him the power to bulldoze away all the bull**** and lies and get to the TRUTH. How about that? Then we could settle this, once and for all! You guys are in favor of finding the TRUTH, aren't you...?

Good point. Obama should have hopped into an F-15 and flew over there personally to wipe out the bad guys.

That's the way the do it in the movies, isn't it?

    You do remember correctly.

The Republicans were all covering for Nixon. Of course, we didn't have Fox Noise, or a chorus of right wing ex disc jockeys screaming at people all afternoon, and no trashy blogs either.

The Special Prosecutor law has expired. It expired in the early days of the Bush administration, and died with bipartisan lack of support. the GOP had abused the process wholesale during the Clinton years, and no one was interested in what had become a political weapon.

You may recall that Nixon's end came because he fired the Special Prosecutor. He had to go through three or four Assistant Attorney Generals before he could find someone who would do the dirty deed. Robert Bork.

    ......

Your reply is flamebait, trolling, off topic, and doesn't deserve an answer.

    That depends.

If it was one of his daughters in danger of being killed in the consulate instead of four insignificant people he didn't care about?

We know Obama can't fly an F-15 but he has pilots at his command who can fly them.

Even if he were paralyzed with indecision I don't think he would have gone to sleep as he did on 9/11.

LOL, yeah that's what we need. A real "hero" who makes sure he milks it for the photo op, right?

I hope you don't think posting childish pictures are an answer to the point I made.

If it were his daughters under fire in a foreign land Obama would have ordered other Americans to go save them.

No one ever denied there was an attack on the US compound by extremists from day one. Whether you want to label it a terrorist attack or not is semantics. Since this was not an attack on general civilians to cause terror, but a focused attack on what was a CIA outpost, one can make an argument that this was not a terrorist attack. But what difference does it make what you call it?

Obama's obvious love for radical Islam cost Americans their live at Benghazi. The politics are a diversion. People died because Obama is more PC than he is a CIC. You can go back to Fort Hood for a prime example.

Thanks for shining light on the true issue here.

This whole thing is just another "Birther" movement by people who think that Obama is a radical Muslim terrorist born in Kenya.

He may not have been born in Kenya, but does consider it his "home country". Sorry, but I want a president who considers the United States of America his "home country".

I'm not Hillary, but feel free to answer the question if you have anything worthwhile to add.

I want a country that isn't full of teabag birthers. But you can't always get want you want.

Watch...over the next week or two?

The Right will put Benghazi on the "back burner"...and be talking about "IRS" and "AP".

The "outrage" will fade....to be replaced with newer ones that are easy to grasp and "sell".

Obviously there is something afoot here or why the stonewalling by the administration? Why did Susan Rice do what she did? Carney is all over the place. Obama or someone in his administration was reluctant to let the survivors testify. Hicks has been demoted. You tell me what is going on.

    - - - Updated - - -

Likewise. If your best posit is 'what difference does it make' then my prior post stands.

It would be a start, and thank G*d that genius Axelrod did not think of it. Imagine the amount of PR that stunt would have generated? The 3rd term would not be enough for Liberals to appreciate Obama with :)

The explained why Susan Rice said what she said. It was based on the initial CIA assessment memo that said this was a spontaneous event inspired by the Cairo video demonstrations that evolved into an assault. She said investigations were ongoing. Obama the next day said he thought it might have been a preplanned attack. When they confirmed it was not they announced it.

Really, what is the BFD here?
