You're asking me to write a bill? I can't really tell because it's not very clear.

Joe Biden publicly invited all these migrants from all over the world. This supposed bipartisan bill is not intended to fix anything.

The House of Representatives sent a substantive bill to the senate last year and the senate has refused to bring it up. It is the Democrats who don’t want to solve this problem.

Biden has accidentally admitted that he doesn’t need additional laws enacted in order to enforce current laws and secure the border.

He doesn’t need more authority to reverse his EO’s which caused the current situation.

Yes. Congress has to make the laws, the president just abides by them.

Then why is he failing to enforce current border and immigration laws? Do we need news laws which he can ignore?

This is an admission by Biden that there’s no need for new laws to be passed.

The laws against illegal immigration are already on the books.

The Republicans in the house passed a bill that actually dealt with border security. The Republicans in the Senate in the minority are not able to do so. Democrats in the Senate havent even managed to write down their legislation for anyone to read

Yeah. And the legislation proposed in the Senate accepts 5,000 illegal immigrants per day, and then when 5,000 is exceeded it gives Biden the authority to close the border, it does not require him to do so. As well, weve been told repeatedly by Mayorkas that the border is and has always been closed.

Catch illegal border crossers and deport is the law. Catch and release is by executive order. Senate bill will make 5000 illegal immigrants per day, caught and released the law.

Same reason trump did. The only thing trump had going for him to limit influx at border was the pandemic and a health emergency policy.
No president in history so far, has been able to deal with immigration issues. Because congress refuses to address the issues with immigration policies.
And per this OP, the GOP won't make it easier for the president to do so.
So, which party is really not for fixing immigration policies? Looks like the party that likes the cheap labor.

So tell me why we need new laws when the problems could be solved simply be enforcing current laws? There’s

There’s no need for a series of new laws.

    This isn’t about Trump.

Asylum laws for one. In order to be eligible to apply for asylum one must do that at a legal port of entry.

Which laws are not being used or followed.
Until we know them, how do we know if they are being followed or not?

No one present these laws not being enforced.
Border apprehensions are at all time highs.

It’s odd how liberals can claim immigration and border security laws are being enforced. It’s actually a sign of insanity.

Cite that law? You maybe correct. But we are not barbarians either.

Not only are there USA laws to comply with the international laws also.

    ...
    What is asylum?
Asylum is a form of legal protection that host countries grant to migrants who have been forcibly displaced and are fleeing harm or persecution, or the fear of persecution, in their place of origin. According to U.S. and international law, a claim of persecution must be made based on one of five “protected grounds”: race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. (The breadth of this last category has stoked many legal debates.) The right to asylum is laid out in U.S. immigration law and Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; it is also outlined in the 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol. While asylum offers the same protection as refugee status, migrants seeking asylum in the United States must apply for it from within the country or at one of its 328 official ports of entry rather than from abroad.

Maybe because no non liberal will ever cite actual laws not being enforced. Just wild conspiracy theories.
Or wish the president to break USA and International laws.
