Biden warns Democratic rivals he's got 'all this information about other people’s pasts'

It would not surprise me if much of the Biden dirt-cache came from the Clintons. It's pretty well known that Hillary knows where all the bodies are buried and where the closeted skeletons are hiding. I imagine Biden will approach each of his opponents and say something like: "This is what I have on you. These are the topics about me that are out of bounds. If you cross the line, I will release the dirt."

 

I dunno - Do they really like Biden enough to do so on his behalf and not someone else's, like say Kamalla? Especially when it's known The Cellulite Goddess used her clout to get Biden not to run in 2016?

 

Of course it is, and of course he will. He MUST be the "only option" for establishment Democrats to have a chance. That means that people like Harris and Buttigieg must be destroyed.

 

Not criticizing the other Dems is Biden's strategy, he's said that from the beginning and just said so again, it wasn't a threat. It makes sense, because Biden has been around so long and that causes issues to be criticized about.

Another factor that you may not see, because you aren't a Democrat, is that large group of candidates are liked as individuals, even if someone likes another candidate better. Being too aggressive is counter-productive.

 

It's going to change as soon as he gets desperate, and once criticism from the other candidates hit a fever pitch.

And yet, Harris has gained. Significantly.

 

I think Biden's strategy will be to remain cool and just explain if needed the next day. That doesn't take much effort to accomplish for someone his age, by then they've heard it all. Biden knows how to not be rattled and he has significant money to do first class ads.

I've always liked Harris the best and I know she is qualified, but she needs to develop a better communication style. Too often, she appears too excited, angry and her prosecutor style needs to be fined tuned.

 

You're wrong. Biden's entire appeal is to be "the one" who can beat Trump. To him, slipping in the polls is an existential threat to his campaign. He will find it necessary to try and hamper other candidates.

Whatever your personal feelings, it's working. That's something Biden hasn't missed.

 

Great misleading post since Biden said he wasn't going to use the information. That was just a warning that if the other Democrats wanted to go negative he has the goods. What he wants is a race on the issues.

I disagree. Saying that he HAS the information is an implied threat, even if he then qualifies the statement with a "- but I don't wanna use it, y'all!" It's also something to be taken seriously because with all his years operating at a (relatively) high security level compared to the rest of the pack, Biden most assuredly either has a lot of dirt on the other candidates, has the means to GET dirt on the other candidates, or both.

I mean, if we crank it up a notch someone saying "I've got a gun, now I don't wanna go there - let's just discuss our differences peaceable-like," you're not gonna find too many people saying "Well, he said he wasn't gonna use the gun!" No, in both cases what you have is someone saying they are in a position of power over the others and you'd best play by their rules or else.

None can win on the issues and policies, they all promise the same thing, more government spending and more taxes on everyone but you and we're really going to get the fat cat rich bastard's. That's all they go policywise and they all agree and are just trying to top each other. So they have to go after each other and that has just started. Biden better get ready they're ain't gonna by any waiting to respond, Harris was just a preview. And they they will all be running on why you shouldn't vote for the other person and that means attacks.

They all can win with issue and policies and it doesn't hurt having so many doing studies on different ways to accomplish various things. There may be some legislation in prescription medicine, but I don't see any major legislation getting passed for years. The Dems will need to take back the Senate and then some.

Only one can get the nomination and as it stands now, whoever does will win against tRump. I don't see tRump doing anything to win. There is still a very good chance tRump will resign.

As for Clinton avoiding the draft what he did was all legal. Anyone who actually swallowed the government's lies about Vietnam and went willingly got duped.
