According to the biblical fairy tale when you croak you will go to one of three places:
1) death
2) the sea
3) hell

So the good news is that even if you end up in hell you won't stay there forever.

In Islam when you croak you just stay dead until Judgment Day and then you are resurrected. At that time you get one of the various paradises or you get tossed into hell, where most of the people are women. Most people actually believe in the Islamic version than in the biblical version. Remember, in the biblical version hell is temporary. You go to hell when you die but you get out on Judgment Day. In the Islamic version when you die you wait until Judgment Day and then get resurrected. At that time you may end up in hell for eternity.

So where is Billy Graham? He's either just plain dead, in the sea, or in hell. But he will make bail on Judgment Day and then he could end up in the lake of fire but he will no longer be in hell.

 

Why do you think the Protestant religion is legit? It was started by a horny Catholic priest who liked the ladies and wanted to be important like the Pope.

 

Yeshua was going around flapping his jaws about how he was the son of Yahweh and that no one got to the father except through him. So when the mob accused the woman of worshiping him (aka "adultery" in Bible speak) as a God he had to wimp out. Given the status that he claimed for himself he was the one without sin and should have cast the first stone. It was his obligation to do so. His failure to do it shows that he was just a loudmouth fake. Moses would have whacked Yeshua in a second.

 

Do you follow all of the 25+ commandments in the Sermon on the Mount? Sure, you may not kill or commit adultery but do you pray in public? Do you worry about your life? Do you give to those who ask you? Do you follow all of the commandments from the Old Testament as well? If not then you are on the naughty list (Matthew 5:19).

We are again seeing why every Christian should vote straight Republican in every election for every office. Notice the rabid, pro-active hatred and sneering by the Democrats on this thread. It is continuous on the forum and not just on the religion board.

It isn't that they just post they don't believe in God or the Bible, they are atheists and leave it at that. They have to furious and incessantly rant out their pure hatred of Christianity and sneer hatefully at all Christians. They are dangerous in political and possibly even more very real ways to all Christians.

Think of how extreme it is to be reading rantings that Jesus was worse than Hitler, Charles Manson, Stalin and KJU. Jesus was a pauper who walked about preaching non-violence, self sacrifice, forgiveness, and was a strict pacifist - saying that is how God wants people to act. Yet in pure hatred declare that Jew for what he said was worse than what Hitler actually did, including to Jews such as him.

We need to remember Christians recently in the USA HAVE been victims of mass shootings by shooters who ranted equally against Christianity and Christians in such pro-active hatred, where there have been no mass shootings of atheist by Christians. Minimally, the thoughts and extreme emotionalism in messages such as those of Freedom Seeker and The Wynd are exorbitantly dangerous to Christians on a political front, if no other way.

It is pure hatred, unlimited and irrational. I can not recount how many times I have posted I'm not a Christian. Despite this, merely because I do not join in the lies, bigotries, grotesquely twisted logic and raw hatred of Christians then they declare I MUST be one of them. They are dangerous not just to Christians again at least politically, but to everyone.

 

Do you think the Democratic Party is legit? It was started by a slave owning mass murdering sociopath and the only president to defy the Supreme Court for the purpose of mass murder, putting thousands of children, women and elderly on death marches in the winter for the purpose of stealing land they legally owned.

 

Not one atheist can name one atheist country in all of known world history that lasted a century or that did not degrade rapidly to mass murdering their own people.

You really do misunderstand Scripture. The preacher took it upon himself to bring his people back to Jahweh. His concern was for his people. If that is bigotry then Trump is a bigot, Brexiteers in the UK are bigots, and so are a million others people who are looking after their own/own national interests.

What the preacher actually said, and what people believe he said - to make him divine - is debatable.

all these things” that are going to take place within a generation. It doesn't actually include the return of Jesus. Previous verse says 'all these things'. - you will know he is near'. A generation in scripture can mean many things.
