'Black' NAACP leader outed as white woman

Why should she have to feel like she's black when the organization is for 'colored people?' I saw her picture and she's kinda pinkish.

 

My guess is she's headed off to a new position hosting the NBC Nightly News!

In other news, I am coming out. Yes, I am roughly half-Vulcan, half-Kryptonian, with a small amount of Draenei. Don't laugh, you trans-planetary phobist bigots!

 

Part of my family lore is we have a Vulcan in the family tree, but we never mention it because colleges add points to your SAT scores.

I saw her on the news - another strange case. She's obviously Caucasian and why lie about it? Oh well - if it makes her happy and she's not hurting anyone else......I don't care what race she calls herself.

 

Ideally, shouldn't a black studies professor actually be black?
Wouldn't her lack of, ummm, blackness hamper her ability to impart knowledge?

I'm getting antsy and I'd like a new job. How far do I have to go with physical changes before I can check the box on job applications that says I'm black?

 

God I hope this catches on. We can all be black and everybody gets affirmative action. If everybody in America identifies as a black woman, the government mandated head starts lose all impact and we can finally be a color blind country.

This story just gets funnier. Blacks get in a huge snit when a comedian or anyone, really, goes blackface. But they laud and support this blackface blackhair creature.

Lying of course is not a problem for the NAACP or any other political organization, it's well within their standards of conduct and public discourse. We need to come with some slogans for the campaign to keep this woman in her job. So far, all I've got is 'Boobs Up! Don't Fire!', which doesn't sound very catchy.

True, but those same chemicals are still used to produce a different style. Ammonium thioglycolate is still the main ingredient in chemical restructuring of hair. Sodium hydroxide is still used to achieve the strongest straightening of the hair, and the reason to do very small partings, keeping it off the scalp and you must wear gloves to prevent burning your hands. Black hair is stronger than white hair, and if sodium hydroxide was used on white hair it would more than likely melt

 

We need to define what black is. Is it skin color or other physical features? Origin of ancestors? Culture? What?

But to answer your question, for ages there's been the one drop rule. If you have any black blood in you at all you were considered black, just as Obama is considered black when he's more white than black.

 

What about white guys who aren't angry or for that matter black guys or for the matter other women. Are you suggesting only white males who are angry find this totally disgusting? That's pretty racist and bigoted.

 

Not unless Rubio wins and says he is, if fact he could be the first black woman President if that what he wants to be according to the leftist around here and the NAACP.

I heard one historian say that of the 17 I think founders 10 were white which is what makes this so absurd. She didn't have to commit the fraud.
