That's a shame. But call it payback (although still not Godly behavior) for worldwide Islamic persecution of my people.

Not to his family, his people etc...

Same way when american troops die, their family and people don't want his/her dead body used fr prpoganda purposes.

At least they didn't (*)(*)(*)(*) on them this time.

Why are they still in Afghanistan. Mission is a failure, just leave. Afghanistan is the toughest place on Earth for invaders, no matter how strong or advanced they are.

Wrap the Muslim terrorists in pig skin and dung, and then bury them deep facing home (face down).

What a load of crap. Genocide of Afghanis could be achieved in days if not hours. Agreed though, come home and then if/when another terrorist attack occurs on our soil locate the source and nuke it.

These guys are with the 82nd Airborne. America's Honor Guard.

The American Army is experiencing a breakdown of discipline. The same thing happened in Vietnam.

We can't send men and women into combat for year after year after year and expect this not to happen.

And then bring them home and expect them to intergrate back into normal society.

Why not? The vast majority of returning troops adjust fairly well.

That's quite true. There have been incidents involving this sort of behavior in previous wars. But such incidents are the exception and certainly not commonplace as some of our Islamofacist friends would have us believe.

I have this terrible sense of deja vu as if it's 1972 again.

Egypt is down to $9 Billion in foreign reserves. That will buy food imports for two more months. Then the people of Egypt starve. They are in for a world of hurt.

His home is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean approx 1700Kms east south east of the Pitcairn Islands? Wow. Who knew?
Oh no wait. You're referencing an old religious belief that our planet, our home is at it's very core the source of all evil.
Is that why some people bless their food before eating it? Because in it's original form it is born of pure evil?

I feel the need to purify myself and others.

I hope that you're right. 1972 is when we pulled out of Vietnam. I'd like to see us do the same in Afghanistan.

1973 actually. You started to pull out in 1969.

The peace talks then resumed, and on January 27, 1973, the parties agreed to a cease-fire the following day, the withdrawal of all U.S. forces, the release of all prisoners of war, and the creation of an international force to keep the peace. The South Vietnamese were to have the right to determine their own future, but North Vietnamese troops stationed in the south could remain. By the end of 1973, almost all U.S. military personnel had left South Vietnam.

I have to say at first I was against this, but not so much anymore. Fact is those people are dead and they blew themselves up. Lets not forget the Afghani police are beside them. Sorry but I just don't care. Is it in bad taste, sure. So what.

I think you need to check that one , Jason .
Studies with a huge number of Vietnam veterans suggest that the 5% max who went in as psychopaths simply had their world view confirmed and affirmed and around 80% of the others returned with big problems -- stress disorders , traumas etc .
Biggest problem is that the vast bulk of post combat disruption is never seen or reported that way -- but it busts up families in private or at a local level with all the numbers implications suggesting an enormous "hidden" problem .And of course with a propensity towards Drugs , with Alcohol the major player .
It's then only a short step to asking what effect this has nationally on successive generations ripped apart by violence , cruelty and hate .
For sure, whatever the long term effects and their severity , it does great harm and little , if any , good imo

    Abusina,...

Who cares? The terrorists are dead, and it's only a picture.

    Nobody cares anymore.

Taking a crapper on them is something entirely different. In these cases they are just snapping pictures.

In Libya you saw the same as well -- Libyans taking pictures of themselves or their friends, posing with a dead body.

It, by no means, is an American thing or something...

Like I said: nobody truely cares.

    HOW OUTRAGEOUS!

You need to read the NYT more often on saturdays and sundays...

The real massacre of American troops doesn't happen overseas, in Iraq or Afghanistan -- but at home. If a 1000 men would fall in those countries, about 6000 men would fall in the USA (suicide, drug overdose, etc.).

Yeah I am sure the guys wife and kids are not that bothered that their husband sacrificed his life trying to beat an invading army and now those same invaders are making fun of him and posing for pictures with his dead body. What you really mean is that no one in the west cares as these are unpeople and not as good as the people in the west.
