Its already is viral. the word combination "obama birth certificate" generated 11,800,000 hits this morning (1-2 years ago it barely generated 1.5 mln hits). All the mainstream media outlets had by now reported the results of the conference, and no one, not even Politico is laughing at the sheriff.

I wish the National (Democratic Party) Media would have done their job before the election so we would not be wasting our time on this crap now. We have a nation to fix.

They should have gotten to his passports, long form birth certificate, school records, etc... PRIOR to him taking office. It's only the most powerful position in the world. But, now that he is there.... I see this as a massive distraction. I respect those that want to insure there is not an illegal holding of the office, but you could easily use your energy and efforts to beat him in November and his exit would been sooner that if you proved him ineligible.

I would prefer to talk economy, national defense, international relations, and education. His performance on all of those issues is quite bad.

No, they and any other "legal" citizen has the right to be president if elected. If they are illegal, it won't happen. This little fiasco is going to balloon and from now on, each candidate will have to be squeeky-clean in the respect to citizenship.

Proclaiming this ongoing investigation into Obama's BC, and then, when the drop dead date comes, he's says he's found some interesting things, only to withhold said information...

Common sense tells me that, had he found something, he'd air it out...

I agree with you in part. Electing someone other than him would be best, however, no one likes a liar, especially in our president. If this does turn out to be true, which it looks like it might be, he pulled the wool over the eyes of millions and millions of people and it will make us all look like a horses ass for electing him.

 

A) As I said before- what Liberals? I am a Liberal and I never- ever- made any argument nor supported any argument that John McCain was not eligible- for any reason. There were lawyers- conservative and liberal who made that argument, but I never did, nor was this ever a 'liberal' argument.

B) It was never 'proven' that McCain was eligible- but Congress- both "liberals" and "conservatives" issued a statement that he was eligible.

C) I have never demanded that McCain show his birth certificate. I have repeatedly showed the hypocrisy of Birthers who have stated that a candidate has the responsibility to prove he is eligible, and have stated that Obama is hiding his, when in fact, John McCain never 'proved' he was eligible, and never showed us his birth certificate.

What I will continue to point out- I apply the same standards to each and every Presidential candidate. I assume that every candidate is eligible- President Obama has exceeded those standards by actually proving his eligiblity.

 

You guys do this all the time, so here goes...prove what you said.
