BREAKING; Trump declares all media enemy of the American people!

I see bias as the enemy of which Trump is a participant along with the media.

 

These are the words of a dictator. Lenin, Mao, Stalin all painted their opponents as "enemies of the people". You may support Trump but even his most vociferous supporters should think about his words. He has singled out a number of media outlets for the tag "enemy of the people". Others, favoured others, are not singled out for opprobrium. "I don't like you because you criticise me", is fair enough, but enemies of the people? Dangerous, deluded, megalomaniacal.

 

Dictators are not defined by words, they are defined by their actions. Enemies of the people are defined by their disregards of the will of the people, among other things, by lies to the people and the attempts to brainwash and fool them. A big chunk of the corporate mainstream media fits right in.

As for the "mainstream" media I prefer to see them as the professional media, as opposed to the outliers. In that I include - believe it or not - Fox and other Murdoch media businesses as well as the non-Murdochs. While Fox and the Murdochs are vehemently anti-anything on the left at least they make an attempt at justification for their positions.

 

Unfortunately you can do nothing until he acts - no I will amend that. If you can identify a house of representative or Senate member who you even have a wild connection to - on either side of the bench - write to them. Put your concerns down. Speak up. Dont wait for the night of the long knives

The media has been trying to push their opinions down the throats of the populace for some time. I prefer critical thought and comming to my own opinions. I get tired of trying to seperate data and fact from opinion, insinuation, speculation, and assumption everytime I turn on the news. Trump points it out but most people are too programmed to know they are being fed someone elses opinion. They think opinions are facts.

 

Just the fake news liars. trump has great respect for reporters that don't lie. Even the ones that write tough stories on him when they are true. He said this himself at his press conference. you should know this already.
