Your top two posts are from the Times and the Post, both of which reference a Senate report saying that attacks could have been prevented with better security. That report also singled out the late Ambassador Stephens for criticism on that point.

They may have also noted that the GOP congress significantly cut funding for Embassy securtiy too, which is also a fact.

All of your other citations are from right wing blogs. One is from the Telegraph, which is a British tabloid that feels quite at home amonst the meatball journalism practiced by the US right wing noise machine. Of course you also quote Russia Today. which is now telling us about persecuted Ukrainians who need Russian protection.

 

Same guys who thought Monica Lewinsky and the "murder" of Vince Foster would stop Hillary from getting elected a US Senator.

And when asked why Stevens asked this, Dempsey said, "I don't know, we never discussed the reasons." HAHAHAHA. What a joke of an investigation. This LtCol Gibson was in charge of 4 people (the 4 Dempsey supposedly convinced Stevens to keep from the SST because he wanted "trainers" for the Libyans). Just exactly who was this SST? I imagine they weren't raw security recruits out of basic training. If such a small unit was commanded by a career Special Ops O-5, then they were elite.

So Stevens goes to Dempsey and tells him he doesn't need one of our most elite security teams, and Dempsey doesn't wonder or ask why? I don't believe you sir.
