if any country nukes another country proactively, every other country should nuke that county, only way to end the threat of nukes

Plotting to overthrow a nuclear power is probably the most dumbest thing I've read in months.

 

Russia has been doing it since Trump came on the scene.

 

While India has less than favorable cultural practices, three major differences separate them from China.

1. India is not engaging in acts of genocide.
2. India is not constantly screwing with it's neighbors (except with Pakistan but both countries have been engaging in that since 1947).
3. India is a democracy instead of a totalitarian state.

like I said earlier, there would be an eventual ground invasion. There is in every war. Nuke fallout would be the worst thing to deal with but owning a firearm to defend yourself and family is a must in any threat. I would rather die with the ability of self defense than without it.

 

Says nobody important. There are only a handful of countries that are absolutely not relevant to mention, that recognize Taiwan as a country. It's government got kicked out of the UN and replaced by China. They have a vote on that event. Go figure. That's wildly different compared to a country like Palestine.

 

Can you explain what the comfort of having a semi automatic weapon, when China nukes the US.... in the scenario that WWIII happens?
At best you could argue, that it's handy when the country plunges into violence and anarchy for those who survive the apocalypse....
to protect yourself against fellow violent Americans.

 

The problem for China is this -
most of her population congregate along their Eastern seaboard in very cities
They don't have many allies
Their access to blue water has four marine choke points
They don't have a lot of resources
They don't have much experience at war

A nuclear war will see many American cities hit, but essentially all of China hit.

 

That’s only one reason but it is a reason. Not everyone is friendly even when there is food on the table. A starving and broken society would definitely breed violence from fellow citizens. If foot soldiers come in they may come in handy too.

 

Most of the population in the US is also along the seaboard.
Allies is not relevant when you can't win a nuclear war
Access to blue water is not needed in a nuclear war
China has a heck of a lot of resources
The US has a lot of experience with losing wars.
They could not win from a bunch of goat herders in Afghanistan.
They caused ISIS to spawn in Iraq.
They got kicked out in Vietnam, gave up in North Korea.
Kicked out of Somalia.
Relied on the USSR in WWII both in Europe and Japan.

And FYI... the most "empty" part of China, which Tibet and surrounding parts of China... still has as many people living there as the entire US. Wuhan isn't exactly close to the sea. It's just your random +10 million Chinese city nobody in the world knew existed before 2019.

 

Foot soldiers in a nuclear war? What?

That wasn't a nuclear war. The US had no foot soldiers on Japanese soil prior to it's surrender. The USSR however captured 1 million Japanese soldiers in 3 weeks or something, and had it's soldiers on Japanese soil... and than Japan quickly surrendered to the US. And FYI Russia still hasn't given back them parts of Japan it took. The entire idea that the US ended the war with Japan, is a strictly western perception ignoring the might of the USSR who still had an entire fleet of ships without a single dent, besides that enormous successful army of totally disappointed leaders that they had to call it quits.

 

So must have agreed to destroy all their war factories on their own good will? We definitely occupied them.

 

Nukes were used. Just cause the other side didn’t have them doesn’t change the fact they were devastated by them.

 

Not prior to the surrender. The US only had this genocidal campaign going to use firebombs against civilians. Bombs they tested on a Japanese houses they had reconstructed in the US. They massacred about 60, or was it 80 cities before they started nuking civilians.

Pff. Only 2 cities. How do you think that is going to compare when China got some 300 of them to shoot back? The 10th biggest city in the US has around 1 million people. At 300, you're down to "cities" who are barely over 100,000 people.
