A lying agenda driven press without a shred of honesty or decency is the ultimate enemy of the first amendment. And it is also the actions of a man who has had all the horse crap he's going to put with today's CNN story copied by almost all of our far left agenda driven media, came with a head line that was exactly the opposite of the story under it.

Would these only be "Trump Approved," News agencies? There is a serious problem with an American President banning news
    agencies from briefings.

I can only conclude that posters who support this move are more used to the way the Kremlin handles the press.

I think the Tampa Tribune could get the story out about as well as the New York Times. That may be just me being non-elitist.

CNN's rights are completely intact. Not every news organization is allowed to all these briefings. What makes them so special? CNN is an arm of the DNC and the now-defunct Clinton machine that we can already see will become an arm of the Warren political machine. CNN's credibility is on par with Pravda, and this is the path they have chosen.

For all the rest of us, choices have consequences. Why should a political propaganda outlet masquerading as a news organization not have consequences?

CNN has this story in headlines on their website. Apparently, the stuck pig is squealing. :roflol:

"Freedom to lie" the MSM is being taken to task! You need to consider his side, what's he got to lose, clearly they are never going to cover him fairly, hell this site alone is a standard example of the type of embellishment Trump is dealing with! I certainly don't fault him for protecting himself from this type of combined assault, better to send out WRITTEN correspondence to the media if all they are going to do is purposely misinterpret everything he says!

I suppose the same type of thing can be levied against those who promote disingenuous press *shrugs*

It's only an attack on the first amendment if they're being prevented from saying what they want. And being invited to the White House is a privilege, not a right.

The reason they were excluded was for disagreeing with Trump. In that respect, yes, "CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES". Trump has an entitlement to be defiant . . . . It is his expectancy that the station of all others is to be subordinately acquiescent.

Your reply totally ignored the point of my post: Arbitrary inhibition of freedom is suppression of our Constitutional rights.

The press has a protected right to report. There is no right to cooperation or data. One is not obilgated under the Constitution to invite the vipers in.

No rights are being suppressed. No one is being prevented from what they want to say. No one is being imprisoned for what they have said. Seems to me this is being blown out of proportion by people who feel like they have the right to be there regardless of invitations.

What about other news outlets who are never invited? Are they being suppressed?

As I'd like to see trump clean DC, his adolescent temper tantrums are annoying. And banning news agencies is going against the constitution.
He wasn't elected to be a dictator. To only give news that he likes.
We all knew he was a big baby, he showed it in every debate. Talking like a school yard bully. It's his MO.
And he will break the constitution many times.

Fox channel that tries news is also a political propaganda outlet.
IMO, he'c creating his safe space. Isn't that what snowflakes do?

    So no media was allowed?
CNN is off the air and no longer an entity?

    - - - Updated - - -

The problem with that is in the assumption that the 'Russia' stories are anything more than that 'stories'. As there is no evidence of note all we have is a 'news' service pretending that every allegation is a fact and all evidence need not be provided...

CNN and the NYTimes do not even pretend to be objective news sources that serve the public trust.

They are enemies of all honest Americans.

I remember 'Rathergate'...what was their excuse...OH yeah..."Fake but Accurate". They hated Bush so much they believed simply faking evidence was OK...

    - - - Updated - - -

But the ban does not apply to the press, it applies to CNN.

    - - - Updated - - -

Why a democrat propaganda source alleged they existed so no more need by provided...

Good point but it still doesn't mean he has to call on the NYT or CNN. Part of freedom of the press is people don't have to put up with their partisan crap.

Wasn't there an uproar about "Infowars" being given access? Liberals want us to "vet" legitimate news media, right? Be careful what you wish for ... hypocrisy has consequences.
