    1. Nothing done here is unconstitutional.

    2. The press has a right to report whatever it wants, it does not have a right to access. If it did there would be thousands of press outlets having their rights violated by being refused entry to the WH corps.

    3. There's a strong argument to be made that preferential treatment for large multinational press organizations is against the spirit of the freedom of speech. Perhaps it's time to drop the system entirely and communicate directly with the people.

Yes, Shepherd Smith seems to have moved way from reporting straight news to commenting on it. That is to the detriment of his own credibility and that of Fox News.

Why should they? They're a far left British based media. You should have heard them during the Gulf War!

You didn't really counter Seth Bullock's point.

Do you guys think you're being persuasive with the constant whining and bullying tactics?

Define far left. And what is the starting point on the right?

Loosely defined there are those on the left (to varying degrees) the right (to varying degrees) and the middle. My personal observation of the left tends to be those who are easily identified as being anti American, who obsess with American and their politics, their culture, their laws, etc. Of course the same negative attitudes often applies to those leftists in the US as well.

The middle are the majority of those who voted for Donald Trump in the last election.

The US has to be perfect for the leftists, an impossibility because their complaints keep changing, and they will deliberately ignore problems in other countries. The shortcomings of those countries, especially third world, are also blamed on the USA by leftists but are generally not given much serious thought.

I seriously doubt the middle voted for trump. I think the right voted for trump. Most of the middle sat it out or went 3rd party.
See trump got about the same vote number as romney. I don't think the middle voted romney either.
Well, I'll say maybe about 1/2 the middle voted for both.

I see you don't really know how to define the left. Probably because the left is made up of all sorts of people with different views.
But I doubt leftists, the majority, hate America. I get called left in these forum, I know I don't hate America.
The US doesn't have to be perfect, just tolerant of all types of people in my leftist view.
Why worry about other countries when our country needs focus? We shouldn't be trying to make every country conform to our ideology. What reason should we do that?
Countries with oil are who we meddle with. We try to control the flow of their oil. So some in the ME do get upset with that.

A total of 29 third party and independent presidential candidates appeared on the ballot in at least one state. Former Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson and physician Jill Stein repeated their 2012 roles as the nominees for the Libertarian Party and the Green Party, respectively.[303] With ballot access to the entire national electorate, Johnson received nearly 4.5 million votes (3.28%), the highest nationwide vote share for a third-party candidate since Ross Perot in 1996,[304] while Stein received almost 1.45 million votes (1.06%), the most for a Green nominee since Ralph Nader in 2000.
Independent candidate Evan McMullin, who appeared on the ballot in 11 states, received over 725,000 votes (0.53%). He won 21.4% of the vote in his home state of Utah, the highest share of the vote for a third-party candidate in any state since 1992.[305] Despite dropping out of the election following his defeat in the Democratic primary, Senator Bernie Sanders received 5.7% of the vote in his home state of Vermont, the highest write-in draft campaign percentage for a presidential candidate in American history.[306] Johnson and McMullin were the first third party candidates since Nader to receive at least 5% of the vote in one or more states, with Johnson crossing the mark in 11 states and McMullin crossing it in two.

Ya they screwed him so hard they covered every single speech and rally and had trump supporters up the blank on every panel. He was probably covered more than the rest of the entire republican field, hillary and bernie.

Sorry, if they twist the facts to fit their agenda then they should banned from the White House all together. The President is not picking and choosing who can report on anything they can get their information from the wire or those who were there. How about they just report the news and only the facts and this wouldn't happen to them.

I really enjoyed the political banter on this issue. That's why I joined this forum. I like to hear political opinions from both sides and the response has been overwhelming on this one!

Hillary got about 5 million less votes than Obama did in 2012 and 9 million less that Obama did in 2008. It looks like the 45% of Sanders 13 million voters kept their promise not to vote for Hillary.

Not according to the link I provided from Forbes. Hillary received a several thousand less. Something like 0.8% than obama in 2012.
While Trump got 2M more than Romney. About 5% more? Going from memory.

Obama won by 5M over Romney in the popular vote. Hilary got 3M more than Trump in the popular.
While the 3rd party candidates took about 5% of the overall.

How do you know they haven't? Because trump says so?

That number of votes for Hillary just keeps going up and up. What did they do find the ballot box stuffers and add those in after the fact?

Yeah - apparently Trump lining up companies to keep creating jobs in America is some kind of crime or something.

    Or more accurately ...

CNN is a fixture of THE SHADOW GOVERNMENT ...

The fat coward in chief cannot handle the criticism. Soon, only fox news will be granted access. Only the most mentally deficient fools would think the press is worth muzzling. I think and hope they will redoucle their efforts to expose this con man for the fraud he is.

Except if you go to the 2nd paragraph of the original CNN story, you find quickly that what happened, was that McCabe of The FBI, called Priebus and told him the stories of an investigation of of Trump people talking with Russian contacts is grossly overstated, Priebus asked the logical question, "So what do we do about it" and McCabe told him to call back about it. So technically the Priebus call was solicited by the FBI not initiated by the Administration.
