CNN Poll: More see Trump win likely as Biden leads crowded Democratic field

Thought this was really interesting considering how inaccurate CNN projections have been.

Whatever side you are on, CNN's polling has always been extremely skewed to the Left.

Oct 23 -- Clinton ahead by 12%

Oct 25 -- CNN poll shows 7/10 voters say Clinton will win

Nov 8 -- CNN gives Clinton 91% chance of victory.


CNN admitted their polls were very off in 2016.

Is this because of new polling algorithms? Is CNN trying to push the Left base? Is CNN trying to blunt expectations?

Curious what people from both sides of the isle think.

Biden is over the hill. It is time for all of the old political farts to fade away, they are stinking up the place.

 

There can be no way the Dems would be STUPID enough to put Biden on the campaign trail. Surely to God they realize how absolutely DUMB this would be.

1) He is a professional gaffer. You think Bush was a bad speaker, Biden makes him look like Maya Angelou.
2) His constant groping young girls during the congressional photo shoots was a 10 out of 10 on the cringe scale. These would be plastered everywhere, and what few people left that hasn't really seen them...which is a lot... will see them.
3) Like Hillary, he is a poster child for what is wrong in Washington. He has been a Washingtonite for 45 YEARS!!! He had his day... 20 years ago.
4) Like Hillary, he is fake. Plastic. He has been in Washington for so many years he has spoken passionately on both sides of numerous issues. And some, 2 or 3 times.

Other than that.... he is a has been. Yet another old, lifelong politician so out of touch with the real world he might as well be living on another planet.

I saw some bleat from a former Obama campaign staffer who was peeved about all the Dems who are looking past 2018 to 2020.

Can't say I blame him - it's a bit early to be thinking about that...

IF Joe Biden runs and gets the D nomination, he crushes Trump... So far, he's the only D I've seen likely to run (Warren, Booker, Harris, Bloomberg, my man Avenatti) who does, so unless somebody jumps up who excites me, I hope Biden gets the call. He's not perfect by any stretch, but he's a human being, which will be a nice change of pace.

He's a solid public speaker.... Way better than Trump and Bush (JR... Bush Sr wasn't terrible), but not as good as Clinton or Obama... oh well... After Trump, public speaking certainly not at the top of anybody's list of qualifications...

Biden's not my first choice.... just the best choice of those likely to run at this time... But the D's could nominate a shoe and it would get my vote in 2020, so maybe I'm not the best person to comment...

Just FYI, my choice would be my Sr. Senator, Mark Warner.... Solid man, solid Senator, well spoken, Truly Self Made (without Daddy's money)

 

Just FYI.... "he crushes Trump"...haha... that is exactly what the media wanted you to believe against Hillary. No way he was going to win...it will be a landslide!!...all the polls gave her the nod.
But here we are.
Biden would lose. Worse than Hillary IMO. The Dems would lose even more votes to middle America than Hillary did.
If the Dems put up Biden, nothing else could possibly show middle-Americans and Independents that the Democrats learned nothing from Hillary.

 

I think it shows that they "learned" they need somebody who can easily tell Trump to shove it up his ass, which Hillary was unable or unwilling to do...

I still wish during the debate where he stalked her around the stage, she would have simply turned around once and said 'Step back, bud'.... might have been a moment that paid off big time.... we'll never know...

Of course, it's also possible most of the D candidates who run in 2020 will be able to do the same by then, but it remains to be seen.... I don't think the women will, but Biden wouldn't hesitate.

I will have trouble supporting any D candidate who cannot do that... but I still will in the end, of course, considering the alternative...

What can possibly excuse his behavior towards women and young girls? Nothing.
With Trump there are rumors and audio of him acting like all guys do in locker rooms. Well....all guys don't put their hands on the hips and breast areas of 12 year olds.

 

NO MEN.... put their hands in such a familiar place as this on a pre-teen girl. NO MAN.
Most fathers don't even put their hands on their own daughters there at this age.

 

Would Biden do this to a man? Look at her face, does she look like she appreciates this?

The Democratic selection process and Trump's corruption trials will make for great popcorn and beer demand. Some of Dems are getting groomed by the press already. None are the "old guard." Dems are going for young, tough, and articulate types reminiscent of JFK. After Trump, the Dems are out for blood and someone that will go after Trump like a doberman on a housebreakers leg. 'course, Trump won't be around by then.

Too soon but I think Biden is testing the waters and who knows if he will run or not. He'll be a tough out for Trump but then again, Clinton was supposed to win in a landslide.

Bernie might end up mucking things up for the DNC like he did before. This time they cannot rig it against him so Biden might lose before he gets to the main Presidential race.
