You're absolutely right, flogger did only list the firearm homicides in relation to defensive shootings... Of course, including all gunshots in which the target survived, would inflate both numbers - so your implication is invalid.
I am a CCW holder and I practice quite a bit through 3 Gun competitions. Where are the police preventing these mass shootings? Oh, that's right, police are reactionary. Our well being is our own responsibility.
Ad homonym attacks are the last refuge of a losing argument. Yours has been noted. Tool is not a 'substitute' for weapon, it's a synonym. I also have a pneumatic nailer. I can pull back the safety hood with a claw hammer and keep you off my lawn at 30 yards. It 'll hold 60 16 penny framing nails, and fire one per trigger pull. It's no less dangerous than my CCW. It's a tool too.
Yeah . I mean why couldn't they be more macho like you lot. Instead of legislating against them in order to make their society safer ,go empty the shelves of the weapons used in their mass shootings and give them out as Christmas presents. Then all the family can join in the fun next time ! Truly sick
That's why I wear a hoodie, for the 3 months of the year a jacket is necessary. Usually, I'm in shorts and a t-shirt. The picture is 12 years old, but this is how I typically dress while carrying.
we get to add another name for calling about ownership.....anti-gunners are pretty much useless when it comes to self-defense. However, you can count on them to offer you up as a substitute for their meager lives to the criminal..."Here take him. He wants to shoot you and I want you to live."
I had an brief training course when our club went shooting last spring. The first thing the guy told us was that carrying a gun is meant for YOURSELF, not to protect other people. He brought up the hypothetical situation of being in a gas station when its being robbed. He told us that only if the robber starts opening fire or if he is directly threatening you should you then use your firearm.
With the dog you could leave the gun at home. Even hard core crackies are afraid of dogs BTW good looking family.
Precisely my opinion as well, and that of every CCW holder I know. I've never met one of these 'weekend rambo' types the hopolophobes always talk about, and I know lots of shooters.
Really? Read some of the responses on this forum. There are days I am VERY glad I am not an American and sharing a continent with some of the crazies
Please explain how you believe collectivism to be bad, given you choose to speak on behalf of others.... Otherwise, it looks like hypocrisy.
I will agree with, and therefore, validate his opinion. It's just like welcoming blue state people here in Texas. They're welcome by me, as long as they leave their liberal politics at the border. We don't need them screwing my state up just like the state they left.
As a god loving ,red bloodied American male,I'm glad you don't live here either. We have more then enough people here that think the way you do. Arguing our Constitution with a foreigner is like banging you're head against the wall. Very few ever "get it" ,how our Constitution is to protect the citizens, not the government. Many red states are "getting it" as they are changing their gun laws. Laws that use common sense, while returning more freedom to the citizens of their states. More and more states are realizing, that big government can't be everywhere ,all the time.
This right here is what I mean when I say foreigners don't get it. People like you will never get it. You are a foreigner,so your opinion and thoughts about the Constitution of the United States does not matter to me.
