I have not seen CDC's numbers for heart disease and cancer deaths, but I'm fairly certain that those too are higher than the deaths for covid-19.

COVID-19 is disproportionately fatal to people over the age 65 if they have comorbidities, where as heart disease and cancer are genetic and don't give a crap about your age

Fauci is like any other medical personnel. You start out with zero trust in the doctor. Fauci has gone from providing medical advice to fear mongering. Would you trust a physician who was scaring his patients? It's obvious to me that you have let the governors and the media--including Fox, do the thinking for you. You keep telling me I know nothing about the virus, when I do. Again, no one passes it by these governors to drag out the lockdown as long as possible. If the CDC is so worried about testing, why don't they provide the nationwide testing, and until then shut up? Let me ask you, how many people are actually still listening to Fauci? Everyone I know, even those on the left, are fatigued from these doom and gloom press briefings. They're sick of the exaggeration. These are the people calling for America to reopen. Zero trust in the governors, zero trust in Fauci, and zero trust in the CDC. Then what's even more laughable is how we're talking as if society will have to change for good after this blows over, like banning handshakes or having drive-in concerts.

I'm glad you've heard of the CDC. However, what you haven't heard is that it's them, not me, the ones who have said that wearing a face mask reduces the chances of making the pandemic worse.

What conservatives don't understand is that... What Trump supporters don't understand (it's unfair to say "conservatives", because most conservatives I know are better educated than that) is that this is not a matter of choice. . Not shutting down now is way more dangerous to the economy.

There is a reason why nations like South Korea, Jordan, Costa Rica, ... even China.... are kicking our ass by engaging in a well thought-out reopening.

I don't know what that means. But what I do know is that the more we get Trump and his supporters to describe the epidemic as "hysteria", "hoax", "left wing conspiracy", .... and similar... the more votes from people on the right who do understand this virus we get... or, at least, that Trump loses. So keep up the good work! We need to fill up some 30 minutes of campaign ads with Trump supporters minimizing the pandemic.
