It looks like we will exceed the 4000 deaths per day mark in the US, within the next four days or so.

The lockdown in NY will eventually work but it will take time, a LOT of time. The Wuhan lockdown lasted more than 2 months so it might only be August before it will be safe to end it in NYC. There death toll will decline but at a much slower rate than it increased.

Glad you excuse politicians urging the public not to panic and keep calm. I agree and I am very proud of our president for doing his best to keep Americans as calm as possible. Sometimes it is far better to under exaggerate in order to minimize panic.
I am sure any rational person would agree. Reflecting back on all those democrat politicians telling us this was nothing well into late March, at what point do you think they figured out this would be a way they could use this crisis as a way to derail Trumps re-election.

NO country was fully prepared to handle a pandemic LIKE Covid19.

NO country has implemented measures to PREVENT an outbreak, thus, all we could do was to MINIMIZE an outbreak.

Yes. Propublica had a story about the Red Chinese creating ~ 10,000 fake Twitter accounts to disseminate fake pro Red Chinese news about their actions. It seems to me that the MSM went ballistic over a few Facebook ads recently but nothing about the Red Chinese Twitter story. Also there is evidence (crematory activity time and funeral urn deliveries) that the real Wuhan deaths were ~ 50,000 not the 5000 the Reds reported.

 

Tell that to Dr. Fauchi who repeatedly stated that he completely believed the Red Chinese falsely reported numbers and highly contagious nature of the virus.

I have respect for Dr. Fauchi but he contributed to the belief in the Chinese lies. The South Hampton University study estimates that had China acted 3 weeks earlier when warned by Li Wenliang 95% of the global damage would have been avoided.

 

I didn't go over the entirety of the media, the video I provided only covered the leftie media, you know the ones who now are pointing their fingers at the president for saying the very same things they were voiced at the very same time.
With respect to Trump's handling his day to day briefings, I take it you would prefer that he used the tactic of making everything as bad as possible and using the worst possible scenarios during those briefings? You clearly think that would have done a lot to calm the psyche of the American public or would you just have used that against him at a later date? I think the latter would have been the fact.

 

Again, no, they were not saying the same things at the same time.

And no, it is a false choice to think Trump has to choose between lying and making everything as bad as possible.
